christmas and new year 2009
row 4 babies day out (part 2 of the christmas get together)
our row 4 family is indeed growing Ü we have 4 babies to date and last dec we had a great time playing with 2 of them! how time flies...now we have mommy talks going on aside from our usual kwentos Ü
row 4's blue and white christmas get together '09
our yearly tradition of Christmas get together became more personal and intimate since we decided to spend it in each other's homes rather than having it in restos which are ever full during the Christmas season. being in the comfort of our own homes gives us the chance to just really be ourselves, eat whenever we want to, laugh as loud as we can and play games for as long as we want (without worrying the resto might close or that we may be occupying our space longer than we should). the first house we invaded was ena's condo back in 2007... the second was mark & i's very own place... and the most recent was doc pam's place Ü the pics would speak for it's self...we had fun, we always do Ü
our 6th bf-gf/2nd mr.&mrs. anniversary
i was really surprised and touched with what my dearest hubby has planned for our anniversary ♥ all i wanted was to have dinner at the boutique. nonetheless, he told me to pack stuff for 2 days, just in case we find a place to stay in for the night. little did i know that he already had reservations at taal vista and not only that, our celebration continues when we go back to manila the following day for he also had reservations at discovery suites! i was SPEECHLESS. what's best is we did not miss any simbang gabi while savoring our weekend anniversary celebration Ü here's to 2-hundred more wonderful years with my dear markülit...in other words, to FOREVER, mahal!♥
the rainbow after the rain...
after not being able to see each other for days (because mark was stranded in baguio due to the typhoon) and after finishing the last session of my major activity (parent-daughter bonding, which was delayed for a week due to another typhoon) we were both very happy to see each other, thus we decided to celebrate with a simple dinner date Ü indeed, there is a rainbow always after the typhoon, i mean- rain!Ü
papa eler and mama cenie's 2009 birthday
papa eler celebrated his 60th year last june 10 with a surprise birthday party at dad's. mama cenie had her 59th birthday celebration last may 19 at home with her family and good friends. both birthdays were filled with love, laughter, musics and of course, great food Ü
when randomness hits
last may 31, mark and i decided to head down south and enjoy a day at tagaytay...we enjoyed dining at tootsie's (with the owner personally entertaining us) and we also dropped by nurture spa Ü we also got squeeze in doing the grocery at robinson's summit ridge before going home. oh, the things we would do when randomness hits!
70th/22nd monthsary celebration at the city of pines
since oct. 16 was a school holiday for me and mark is assigned at baguio, we decided to spend the long weekend at the city of pines! it was my first time to travel by myself and i'm thankful that i was able to get there safe, considering that it was only a week before my trip when the place was hit by a strong typhoon. we stayed at microtel and mark surprised me by getting the suite room instead of our usual single room, i was really happy!Ü we also had a grand time walking along session road, having pizza and pasta at pizza volante, ice cream at sessions delight and dinner at 50's diner with our good friends dolly and lad (which was also our way of celebrating dolly's birthday!) i also did not let that trip end without eating burnham's binatog! during our monthsary day, we bought a special silver ring, heard mass at baguio cathedral and dropped by our lady of manaoag and slept over microtel tarlac before finally heading back to manila the following day Ü God was also so good because our trip was made shorter since the bridge that connects la union and pangasinan which was recently damaged by the typhoon became passable a day before we head home. yey!
dolly's cheesecake etc. surprise birthday celebration
hello kitty mania
for someone who's afraid of cats, i know it's weird that i am actually a hello kitty fan! but what can i do, i just really haven't out grown my love for this kitty cat which started way back when i was still 6years old and will probably go on til i'm 60!♥ this is a compilation of all the shots i took during the hello kitty shows that i've attended (with markülit, of course Ü)
ycfc christmas party 09
an 80's themed Christmas party in the month of November...(which became our official Christmas party sched for the years to come Ü) the party brought back memories of the 80's and everyone had a great time reminiscing about the wonderful time they had back then paired with the joy and love brought about by the yuletide season ♥ venue: jeff & mye's house
our dearest Bait Ü
FACT: The therapeutic use of pets as companions has gained increasing attention in recent years for a wide variety of patients. Unlike people, with whom our interactions may be quite complex and unpredictable, animals provide a constant source of comfort and focus for attention. Animals bring out our nurturing instinct. They also make us feel safe and unconditionally accepted. We can just be ourselves around our pets. FACT: Petting a dog has been shown to lower blood pressure. FACT: A study conducted at UCLA found that dog owners required much less medical care for stress-induced aches and pains than non-dog owners. FACT: In a study conducted at City Hospital in New York, it was found that heart patients who owned the pets were significantly more likely to be alive a year after they were discharged from the hospital than those who didn't own pets. The presence of a pet was found to give higher boost to the survival rate than having a spouse or friends. FACT: Mark and Cesca are so happy and blessed to have Bait!Ü
g-max reverse bungy at clark quay
i'm so grateful to my two friends, dadi and abby for not backing out on this...imagine being tossed up in the air for more or less 3 mins. what made it more exciting was that it was located just beside the singapore river! hahaha! thus giving you a feeling of being thrown in the river from up in the air! literally and figuratively - HIGH! now, i can tick another item in my bucket list :)

laguna tour
last april 13, the faculty and staff of stc took a break from work and embarked on a laguna tour :) we went to: - pila to check out beautiful old houses called "bahay na bato" - to a town where pinya and jusi barongs were famous (sorry i forgot the name) - to majayjay falls (super cold water! sarap!) - lastly to liliw to buy some sandals and slippers :) it was a welcome break for all after the very busy school year that we had, for me, it was a great photo opportunity again :) p.s. thanks to arlaine, jann and pam for some grabbed shots ;)
indeed a GOOD friday :)
since my aunt and cousin from the US were scheduled to leave last april 13, my dad thought of bringing them to roxas blvd. for a visit last april 10 (yup, good friday!) it was a great bonding experience for us all and a great photo op for me and my bro :) we went to manila ocean park and though we just stayed outside, the cool breeze, the photo ops and sharing chicharap while chatting made the trip a lot of fun! afterwhich we decided to go to MOA and were surprised by the number of people there! not to mention the bars that were open that night! tsk...tsk...times have really changed! we stayed there for a couple of minutes and then after watching the young ones and not so young ones enjoy the floating air balloons (i'm not even sure if that is actually its name) we decided to call it a day :) i know this is not the popular way to commemorate Good Friday but for me and my family it was a great way to bond and simply relax without having to spend a lot...making it indeed a GOOD friday! :)
