“I think the second one would be amazing to have in the house but the first one is actually pretty good. Next question is where I would put it? Because I have one of my shoulder for isabella’s and I was going to see if we can try to incorporate Mason’s into it or have away to relate to it.”

“I’m always drawing in here so I’ll have it for you in no time,” Teagan smiled, already envisioning the little drawing in her head. “Well if you want to continue with the whole sort of matching thing, I’d recommend the other shoulder. But it’s really up to you. I had a new dad in... three days ago? Maybe five... Doesn’t matter. We got his kid’s footprints tatted on the top of his foot. So there are lots of things you could do.”

He was really happy that she would be down to do more tattoos. “We definitely would go to you to get the little one’s ears pierce.” That is probably something that they need to do sooner rather than later. “I know we have Evalee’s name on the wing but I was thinking of something that would resemble the wedding. Or something that symbolizes us and I want to include the wedding date. Another tattoo idea I had was for the baby boy but I’m not too sure about what to do about it.”

Teagan nodded and led the way into her office. “Well I’ve done a lot recently at weddings. What seems to be popular is getting the date on your wedding band finger. Ring usually covers it, or you use it in place of a ring,” she shrugged. “But when I think of you two, for what it’s worth, I think of a fairytale. So something like Jesy Nelson’s tattoo or if you’d want to get pretty detailed something similar to John Stamos’ engagement announcement. I mean ultimately I could just sketch that out for you guys and give it to you. But I’m all about fairytale stuff,” she laughed.

Dylan laughed at her joke. “Sure, we have some time. No, I haven’t. Speaking of tats, I was going to ask if you’d be interested to do some more for me.” He’s been wanting to get a few more. One including his wedding date and another one for their baby boy.

“Yay!” Teagan declared as she unlocked the place. It wasn’t too different size wise from the other Happy Daisy location, but the size and name were about where the similarities ended. She had done her best with the first store to give it a rock ‘n roll edge, make it what someone would imagine when you said “tattoo parlor” but with the proven success she felt confident in doing whatever she wanted design-wise in the second space. So it was much more boho/hippie vibes. “Of course of course! And I hope you consider us for getting Ms. Isabella’s ears pierced if the time ever comes. What are you thinking for the new ink?”

the second one

It was a long labor, and Evalee was grateful to have some downtime as just her, Dylan, and little Mason, before her visitors arrived. At the sight of Teagan though, Evalee’s eyes lit up. She had become such a special person to her, and their family, and she knew Teagan would be an integral part of Mason’s life. “Come in, come in.” She had tired eyes, but there was something beautiful about the after-glow of a new mother. “I’m doing well…I’m sore, but…that was always a given.” Mason was sleeping on her chest peacefully, the sound of his mother’s heartbeat soothing him.

Teagan nodded, of course it was understandable. Almost every birthday without fail her own mother would call and go into excruciating detail the birth of cousin. Luckily being adopted came with the one perk of not needing to hear about her own birth, few knew the details. She put the bag of gifts, something for everyone, down and smiled at the sight of the little baby. “He’s just gorgeous,” she whispered, in awe of the moment.

the second one

An audible scream could probably be heard all around Boca when Teagan had answered her phone to hear the news - yes the second baby Johnson had been welcomed to the world. “I’ll visit first thing tomorrow - okay? Don’t let him do anything too cute until I’ve arrived!” Teagan had done plenty of shopping before of course, baby toys by the bag full were waiting on standby for the day the little boy was born. But looking over all the soft bears and trucks she felt like it was all wrong. Girls were just easier and what if he grew up to hate her? 

The next morning she did the best to put these worries aside as she pulled up to the hospital, it would all go well of course, he was too young to truly hate anyone and everyone loved a cool aunt Teagan. She was beaming as she peaked her head into the room, “How’s mama doing?”

“That does seem like a lot. However, it is good to know that your business is thriving. I am so proud of you T. Glad to hear that you and Benji are still going strong.”

Teagan beamed to hear Dylan was proud of her. A lot of what she did was for herself, but there was always something to be said for her friends being proud of the ambition she had. “Yeah, at least I think so. For all I know he just likes my bed,” she joked. “You guys wanna come up? Have you seen this shop yet? I mean you’ve obviously been to the other one.”

Dylan laughed at Teagan’s reaction. “You can always ask us for help, T. You help  Evalee and I with Isabella often so we do not mind helping you out when we can. So what has been going on that it made you forget to bring your keys?”

“Ha! That’s because you’re practically taking care of yourself these days,” Teagan said, smiling wildly as she gave the girl a teasing poke. “It’s just been a couple crazy days. Benji has been running in and out of my apartment, I need to make more designs for the flash tattoos, I’ve gotten so many offers to go and be a guest tattooer around the country and it’s just a lot of organizing my schedule,” she sighed.

Dylan grabbed Isabella and put her into the car. “Do you want to see Teagan?” he asked the little girl. She just smiled and nodded her head. Then he drove over to Teagan’s place. “Hey T, here are your keys.” 

Teagan shook her had as she looked up at the building. How could she be so stupid as to leave her keys in her apartment? Luckily she had happy to give out a few extra keys for the shop. “Dylan! Isabella! My heroes!” Teagan shouted, wrapping them in hugs.
