Very nice cafe and shop for Japanese teas, sweets, and teaware. They also host tea tastings, seminars and meditation events. The garden in front is of especially nice design.

I’ll be there serving hot and cold tea. Beer too.

This is Tea An exhibition on tea by Michael Pieracci
This is Tea showcases the artists enthusiasm in tea and explores the great range of color and texture possible. The focal point is an enormous amount of organic waste: used, dried tea leaves consumed in the last 12 months. As this tea (all types, all origins) was brewed and enjoyed throughout the year, the leaves were partly dried. Damp leaves were pressed onto paper, producing a series of unique prints. A series of photographs show cups of brewed tea, but the surprise is the richness and range of color that tea can produce.
Vernissage 30 May 2015 at 18.00.

Mamecha
Location: Mulackstraße 33, Mitte
A very nice Japanese restaurant and tea cafe. Their service includes instructions on how to refill the kyusu and enjoy several infusions. You can also buy bags of Japanese green tea.
P & T – Paper & Tea
Location: Alte Schönhauser Straße 50, Mitte
P & T has opened its second shop in Berlin. Like the original one in Charlottenburg, this new location in Mitte is also tastefully minimalist and invites customers to see and smell a great range of tea.
Café Oliv
Location: Münzstraße 8, Mitte
More of an upscale atmosphere with food to match. The tea service is presented well, especially hot water served in the cast iron pot, allowing the visitor to pour to their liking into a beautiful ceramic cup.
Gipfeltreffen
Location: Görlitzer Straße 68, Kreuzberg
A cozy cafe with a nice menu and satisfying tea experience. They serve loose leaf but in stuffed into a bag, so it's fine to pour the leaves right into the glass.
Companion Coffee
Location: Oranienstraße 24 (rear house), Kreuzberg
A small bar serving a very interesting selection of tea and great coffee too. It’s located inside a boutique shop in the rear house.
Cafe Katulki
Location: Friedelstrasse 40, Neukölln
A very cute cafe run by a Polish woman with beautiful and colorful cups, plates, teapots. Delicious food and nice selection of good quality loose tea. Free wifi too.
Tee Tea Thé
Location: Goltzstraße 2, Schöneberg
Very nice cafe in addition to the tea shop selling mostly teas from Ronnefeldt.
Two and Two
Location: Pannierstraße 6, Neukölln
Very cute cafe with Japanese teas (Genmaicha and Hojicha), plenty of treats, places to sit, and reliable wifi.
I’m delighted to be co-hosting a special event all on tea. I’ll be presenting An Introduction to Tea as well as doing tastings of delicious teas.
