Just thinking about this video for no particular reason.

Okay I’ll say the reason:

People think there will be secret new episodes of ST that will magically make the whole show make sense.

People confused why the show was suddenly bad when it wasn’t. It was bad all along.

I’m sorry if you genuinely thought Byler was going to be canon. I’m sorry if you genuinely thought the show runners would at all treat their marginalized characters well. But the writing was on the wall that it would never happen.

I’m not saying you can’t be angry and disappointed in how things went down. But let’s be realistic. It was always going to happen this way. The only reason we even got as much good as we did was the actors pushing for more.

I’ll be honest, I put my money on Will dying. I’m at least happy that didn’t happen.

Thank you to the Duffer Brothers for somehow creating the perfect fodder for Steddie fanfic with Steve Harrington's ending.

Like genuinely didn't think that'd exist after Eddie died but the Steddie flame was not only still going strong, but fed through S5.

Steve moving to Forrest Hills? Chronically single/striking out with girls? Road-tripping with Dustin with a trailer? Incredible. Give me 80 fanfics. +1 where Eddie pokes fun at him being a sex-ed teacher.

Steve is MAD at Eddie for dying. He's mad. He's mad at what it's done to Dustin and mad he lost a friend. That fight was so well done. Dustin isn't capable of hearing those things but he needs to. He has to. And Steve is tired. How many times has he tried to talk about this to Dustin only to be rebuffed and insulted? Ugh they put two of their strongest actors and gave them the plotline of a lifetime.

Dustin Henderson fulfilled Eddie Munson’s biggest dream of snatching that diploma from Principal Higgins’ hand and flipping the bird, and I think that’s fucking beautiful!
