Play With Me
Lyra stares at the old wooden staircase leading to the second floor. Her neighbors are already out of school and playing outside, if she goes to her room she'll be able to watch them play on the street and their front yards.
As she makes her way up the noises grow familiar-- laughs and giggles, or screams depending on what they're playing.
Her room is neat, bed made and toys arranged close to the window. She kneels on the window seat looking outside.
Lyra smiles and sees a girl playing with a doll. Quickly, she gets her doll from the floor and tries to imitate the movements of the girl playing outside.
Castor finishes tying his shoelaces and eagerly bounces on his heels, excited to go. A new town, new friends to play with.
“Come on, slowpoke!” he exclaims, running in a circle then going the opposite direction and circling again. “Hurry!!!”
Sitting on the steps of the stairs, Pollux sighs and reluctantly closes his book. “I don’t want to go outside. I want to know what happens next.” He adjusts his glasses and looks down on his untied shoes. Castor chuckles and jogs up to his younger brother, tying his shoelaces for him.
“But we have to try and make friends here too. You can tell them all about the books you read, you know?”
Pollux shakes his head. “No one else likes the books I read. They think I’m weird.”
Castor shakes his head too, only more vigorously; his already messy blue hair gets even messier. “I’ll throw them to a fire pit if they say you’re weird!”
Pollux arches a brow then laughs. “You can’t throw them to the fire pit.”
Castor beams at his twin. “We’ll both do it! Together we’ll be unstoppable!” He finishes Pollux’s double laces and offers his hand. “Now c’mon, let’s introduce ourselves!”
The twins open the door and head outside, where the neighborhood kids have gathered and are playing together. Castor makes the introductions and soon, the two are playing tag with the other kids.
Lyra has been watching the kids play when she notices a new pair of voices. Two boys that look alike but aren't the same. She leans closer, her forehead pressed on the glass.
She wonders if she will learn their names, she laughs when the boy with blue hair starts chasing them around.
Castor’s having too much fun running after their new friends. He reaches his arm out and lightly taps the shoulder of a girl then runs the other direction.
“TAG, YOU’RE IT!”
Pollux watches his brother zoom past him and he follows after Castor halfheartedly. His thoughts are still with his book, he’s wondering if the Little Prince will meet his rose again. When he hears people calling his name though, he turns and--
It’s too late, he’s now the new “it.” He looks around at the kids running away from him and starts running for the nearest one.
“Pollux…” Lyra whispers against the glass. If only she could go play with them… but her mamma and pappa won’t like it if she goes outside alone, it’s dangerous. Or at least she feels like staying here, in her room is the safest way to go. And the other kids don’t like her anyway… they never want to play with her.
Her thoughts are replaced with joy when she sees the kids running again.
Castor laughs as his brother struggles to chase after the others. "Go, baby bro!"
"He's your baby brother?" the boy panting beside him asks.
"Yup! By three minutes!" Castor grins then starts running when Pollux makes a beeline for him. "No no! No cheating! I was just 'it'!" His laugh is loud and echoes down the street, making Pollux wince. He doesn't like drawing attention to himself so he swerves and goes after a different person.
His eyes catch sight of the house across the street though…It looks clean, but quiet. There's nothing on the front lawn, no decorations, and the flowers that are there look pale. He reluctantly rips his eyes away from the house and pants as he goes back to chasing the other kids.
Lyra notices Pollux looking towards her house and her heart jumps. “I want to play too… Yes, chase Parker, he’s the slowest.” Lyra laughs looking at the boy trying to get away from Pollux.
Pollux reaches out, stretching his arm as far as it would go while he runs after the boy named Parker --sure enough, he manages to tap the boy’s shoulder and Pollux grins triumphantly. “Tag.”
Castor whoops loudly and pumps his fist into the air before sprinting to Pollux. He throws an arm around his brother as Parker runs for the others.
“You’re doing great, baby bro! Are ya having fu--” Castor stops when he notices Pollux’s eyes aren’t even on him, or the other kids. He’s staring at the house across theirs. “Wow...that’s a big house, I wonder who lives there.”
“Nobody lives there, except ghosts.” A girl, Cindy, chimes in. “It’s a haunted house, you see, and no one goes there anymore.”
“Don’t scare them like that.” A girl with pink hair walks towards them, folding her arms in front of her chest. “It’s abandoned, you shouldn’t go in there just because it’s dangerous.” She points to the abandoned home.
Lyra watches Zoey and Cindy talking to the boys. “They won’t like me either…” She separates her face from the window and her hands fall to the side of her body. “Why do I have to be alone?”
Castor snickers. He appreciates these girls trying to warn them about the house...but the moment the words ghost, abandoned and haunted house left their lips, he knows Pollux was a goner. Sure enough, when he looks at his brother, his twin’s eyes are wide, his mouth hanging open a little and the corners of his lips are unmistakably curled up.
“Why was it abandoned?” Pollux asks without looking at any of them.
“My mom said an accident happened and the people who lived there went to live in another place.” Zoey answers. “I don’t believe in ghosts but the others do.” Her pigtails dance as she shakes her head. “Can we go back to playing tag?”
Castor looks at his brother, who’s still staring at the house. “Pol?”
Pollux reluctantly tears his eyes away from the house and looks at the girl with pink hair. “An accident…” He glances at the house again, then turns away from it.
Parker smirks. “Ohh maybe they want to go check out the house, guys.”
Cindy’s eyes widen and she laughs. “No one in their right mind would go in there! It’s dirty and scary.”
“Parker, don’t tease them… don’t go in there, let’s go back to playing.” Zoey pulls on Cindy’s hand.
Lyra who’s been watching the exchange wonders if the kids are saying bad things about her. She would be nice if they come play with her.
Pollux sees Zoey and feels embarrassed at looking at the house for so long; he doesn’t like to keep people waiting like that. “I’m sorry. Who’s it?”
Castor shakes his head. He’s sure this won’t be the last time his brother will wonder about that house, but for now, he wiggles his eyebrows and slings an arm around Pol’s and Cindy’s shoulders. “Last I saw it was Parker...but maybe now it’s me!”
He laughs and taps Parker. “I’m it! I’m it! Better start running, I’m coming after you!!”
“No…” Lyra watches the kids looking away and she feels a knot in her throat. “Pollux, come play with me…”
Pollux stops in his tracks and looks around. Did someone...call his name? As he does so, he gets tapped on his shoulder by another kid and he sighs.
The afternoon goes by in a blur and the time comes for the kids to go home. Castor and Pollux wave goodbye to their new friends and Castor swipes his arm across his forehead, looking around for his brother. He snorts when he sees Pollux standing in front of that house again, staring at it.
The lampposts turn on, the skies are painted a fiery orange streak, with blue and purple hues right behind it; nightfall is coming. And here is his twin, probably wanting to go inside that haunted house.
“Pol! Ready to go home?” Castor calls out. Pollux shrugs.
“There’s...something about this house, Castor.”
“Yeah...it’s haunted.” He has to admit, the idea of going inside doesn’t sound too appealing to Castor, but like hell he’s going to let his baby brother enter alone.
Pollux turns to his brother, his expression pleading. “Just two minutes? Please?”
When Lyra sees the two boys standing on the sidewalk in front of her house she runs downstairs and jumps on the sofa. Peeking out the window, just a few meters from the entrance, she presses her forehead on the window and her cold breath clashes on the crystal.
Castor scratches his head. “Okay. Two minutes! Mom and dad won’t be home until later anyway.”
Pollux’s eyes light up and he takes big steps towards the house, pushing the gate before realizing it’s locked. But he reaches through the bars and easily slides the lock open. The gate swings forward and the two step inside the property, eyes taking in the empty porch, the dead plants, the stillness of everything. Hurrying up the porch steps, Pollux looks at the door and knocks. Castor looks at his brother.
“What’s that for? It’s empty.”
Pollux shrugs. “It’s still respectful to knock before entering somebody else’s home.”
Lyra runs to the entrance hall and hurries to the door, she waits for another knock, Lyra turns the knob slowly and pulls the heavy door open. She stays behind it, not knowing if the boys will go inside or not -- she doesn’t want to be disappointed.
Castor blinks. “Damn...nice automatic door.” He steps inside with a snicker.
Pollux rolls his eyes. “It was the ghost, Castor.”
“Oops. Sorry~ Then, thanks, ghostie!” The blue-haired twin believes in ghosts like his brother does, but he doesn’t want to get Pol’s hopes up...what if there aren’t any ghosts here? What if the door really is automatic?
When the boys step in Lyra watches from behind the door, her mouth is open in surprise. She pushes the door closed but it's too heavy and it makes a loud noise when it hits the frame.
"Sorry…" She whispers and turns around.
The twins jump when the door slams shut. Castor’s body tenses and he swallows the lump in his throat when he hears the whisper.
“No *bleeping* way…” he thinks, a cold sweat on the back of his neck.
Pollux, on the other hand, blinks once. Twice. He doesn’t know whether he’s going to be afraid or excited to see it...the spirit.
Together, the twins turn around slowly and their blue-gray eyes both go wide when they see the little girl standing by the door.
"Hello…" Lyra greets putting her hands together behind her back.
The twins’ jaws drop but it’s Pollux who recovers first.
“Hello. My name is Pollux, what’s yours?” he extends his hand, not tearing his eyes away from the spir-- the girl.
She gasps, it's been so long since someone's talked to her. "Lyra." Her gaze moves between the boys standing in front of her.
Pollux smiles and pushes his glasses up his nose. “Hello, Lyra. This is my brother…” He gestures to Castor, then looks at him. Usually his brother is talkative and quick to introduce himself. But now, he’s quiet.
Of course, Castor’s still staring at the girl, at her red eyes and black hair.
“Wow…” he can’t help but think. “I thought ghosts would be scary, but she’s really pretty.”
Pollux nudges his brother with his elbow. Of all the times Castor would choose to embarrass him, it had to be now, when they’re in front of a spirit.
Castor snaps out of it and looks from Pollux to the girl, then puts on a big grin. “Oh! Sorry. Hey there, I’m Castor but you can call me Cas. I’m Pol’s big brother!”
"Why do you two have the same face?" She's been wondering that since she first saw them.
Castor snickers. “Because my face is so beautiful, one just isn’t enough. There has to be two of me to spread more fabulousness into the world.”
Lyra smiles. "Do you want to play with me?" She runs to the staircase and stops on the first step to look back at them. "All my toys are in my room… I can turn on the lights if you're scared." Just as she says so the light on the second floor turns on.
The twins jump at the sudden brightness but then they both smile.
"Wow, that's so cool!" Castor exclaims.
"How do you do that?" Pollux asks.
"Do what?" She hops up to the next step.
“Open the lights like that!” Castor runs up to her, eyes focused on hers. Pollux follows, looking around the house.
“I don’t know.” She shrugs. “I’m too short and I can’t reach… so I just think about it and it happens.” Lyra giggles when Cas comes closer to her.
When they reach the top floor she dashes to her room and opens the door for them.
“That’s so cool.” Pollux says in a whisper, trailing behind Lyra. Both twins note the empty rooms and the bare walls, the musty air and the filtered rays of the sun illuminating the space. Castor and Pollux trail behind her and when she opens the door for them, they step inside, looking around the empty room.
“Is this your room?” Castor asks.
“Yes, do you like it?” As she says so stringed lights on the ceiling switch on. Lyra goes to the window where her toys are aligned, she opens a big wooden chest where she keeps her blocks and coloring books. “Do you have lots of toys too?” She asks looking up at the boys.
The moment the lights switch on, the room is illuminated with a warm glow and suddenly, the room is filled with furniture and toys. Castor can hear his brother whispering “amazing” under his breath and the older twin nods his head.
“Not too shabby, Lyra.” Castor grins and goes over to the window to pick up a doll. Wow, he can touch it too? This is too cool! “Well, I have a few toy cars and motorcycles. I don’t know if you’ll like them, girls don’t like cars too much.” He shrugs and puts down the doll. “Pol has a few coloring books...uh...and skeleton models, I guess. Oh but he has a ton of books. Some of them have pictures but most of them don’t.”
“Most people don’t like books too.” Pollux says quietly.
Her eyes shine when they mention their belongings. "I've never played with cars but I like books… the ones with pictures because I can't read…" She pouts and pushes the chest, turning it over so all her toys spill on the carpet.
Pollux tilts his head to the side. “You can’t read?”
Castor gives his brother a deadpan look. Seriously...I need to teach him a thing or two about talking to people!
"I can't, but I have books, maybe you can read one for me later, Pol." Lyra smiles and picks as many blocks as she can hold with her hands. "What do you want to play?"
Pollux nods and smiles. “Yes, I’d love to.”
Castor laughs and takes a few blocks from her hands. “We can play what you want to!” Her excitement is a little infectious and to be honest...really really cute.
Sjsjjsjss babies
"I want to play tag, like you were playing with your friends." She stands and points out the window.
Castor laughs louder and cracks his neck. “Well, you two better be ready then! I happen to be a fast runner!”
Pollux sighs. “He’s a bully.”
“Am not!”
The younger twin rolls his eyes. “But where would we play..? Here?”
"We can go outside… but there's no lights there and it's dark…" She looks at the other window in her room facing the backyard. "I never go there alone."
“Why? Are there other ghosts there?” Pollux pushes his slipping glasses back up his nose. Castor groans.
“Or maybe she’s scared of the dark? Because who knows what’s lurking out there! But, if you want to play there…” Castor reaches into his pocket and smirks. He pulls out his hand that’s now in a fist and holds it out to Lyra. “Here!”
She walks closer to him and extends her hand. "What is it?" Lyra asks curiously.
He gives her a toothy grin then drops a small flashlight onto her hand. He always brings one around in case Pol needs it for his reading or if he gets scared. But it feels like Lyra needs it more right now.
"It's a flashlight! Then it won't be dark anymore!"
Lyra holds the object close to her face, this is the first time she sees one. She presses on the button and when the light comes on she smiles. She flashes the light on the floor, walls and ceiling. “This is funny.” She giggles pointing the light to Cas’ face.
Castor closes his eyes and chuckles. “Yeah? Why?”
“Is this the first time she’s seen a flashlight..?” Pollux stays silent, questions filling his mind.
She laughs. “Because it’s so tiny.” Lyra manages to turn it off and looks at them. “Are we going outside or not?”
Castor puts a hand on her head. “We will on ooooone condition…”
“What condition?” Lyra asks, opening the door of her room.
Castor gives Pollux a look...a look his twin recognizes all too well. Pollux inches closer to the door slowly while Castor leans closer to Lyra.
When he’s close enough to her, he smirks. “Tag, you’re it!” He taps her shoulder then the twins dash out of the room, running down the stairs at breakneck speed.
Lyra gasps surprised but chuckles make it to her lips. She chases after them. "I will catch you!" Her laughter echoes throughout the house.
As their laughs and footsteps echo through the empty halls, Pollux wonders how long it has been since the house has been filled with sounds of children’s noises. But Castor pays none of those any mind; he’s just focused on not getting tagged by Lyra and Pollux. He thought ghosts would be scary, that they’d be bloody and ugly and scream in your face. But Lyra is none of those...she’s just like them, she’s just a kid like them.
Lyra’s determined to catch them… she doesn't notice running through furniture and parts of the wall. She's having too much fun, her laughter making it difficult to run faster.
“Can’t catch meeee!” Castor says in a singsong voice, running ahead of Pollux. The younger twin is already out of breath, having spent more time indoors than his twin. He glances behind him and sees Lyra passing through the furniture...could she…
“Does she know she’s dead..?”
When Pol glances at her she jumps towards him, in a blink she's standing in front of him. Her small fingers press on his chest and she runs away towards the kitchen and the door leading to the backyard.
Lyra pushes the door open without touching it and when she's about to step out her eyes catch her playground -- a single swing, a metalic slide and a sandbox.
"I can't go outside… it's dark…"
The twins stop running when Lyra stops at the doorstep to the backyard. Pollux puts his hands on his knees, catching his breath, and Castor walks back to Lyra. He takes her hand with the flashlight and moves her finger over the switch, turning it on. Then he shines it around the backyard.
“See? It’s not so dark anymore.” He grins at her.
She glances at him and smiles. Lyra walks out, she's been inside so long that her backyard seems like a new world. Castor doesn’t let go of her hand as she steps out, unconsciously mirroring her smile.
“There’s nothing to be afraid of Lyra. Nothing at all. The dark can be pretty too. Like I always tell Pol,” Castor holds her hand and moves it along with his as he points up. “The nighttime is when you can see the stars.”
Sure enough, the sky is covered with deep blue and purple hues but specks of shimmering white stars sprinkle the sky and wink at the three kids.
“Woah…” The stars look different than they do from her window, they seem to shine brighter. Lyra reaches up, they feel so close as if she can touch them.
Lyra looks at the boys and she guides the light to her playground. Cas is right, the night isn’t as scary, especially if she has friends to play with now. She runs to the swing and sits on it. “Can someone push me, pleeeeeeeasee.”
Castor and Pollux exchange a look. The younger twin rushes past Castor and takes the other swing, slowly rocking by himself and giving his brother a blank look. Castor snorts.
“I’ll do it!” he runs behind Lyra and grips the rope, then slowly pulls backward. He’s surprised there’s actually weight on the swing, considering Lyra’s a ghost. But Castor threw logic out the window the moment he saw her.
“Pfft logic --who needs it!”
“Are you ready?” he asks, peeking at Lyra’s face from behind.
“Yes, yes.” She’s giggling and swinging her legs.
Castor chuckles and lets go of the ropes, watching her swing away from him. He keeps his arms open, ready to catch her when she swings back. Content, Pollux closes his eyes and enjoys the small movements of his own swing.
Lyra laughs when the swing goes up, her tummy feels funny on her way down but she still enjoys the moment. After a while she looks back. “Cas, you go next, I can push you.”
Castor feels happy when he hears Lyra laughing. How long has it been since she rode a swing? If she’s afraid of the dark and the outside, then it’s probably been a while...He chuckles when she offers to push him on the swing. “It’s all good, Lyra! I don’t mind pushing you. You just focus on flying!”
He pushes her harder so she goes higher, but careful not to go too high.
“Weeeeeeee!!” There’s a hearty laugh erupting from her chest, her hair is pushed back as she rises on the swing. Lyra leans back and watches the stars, the higher she goes the closer they seem to get.
If she could fly she’d totally go for them and bring two down, one for each of her new friends. They would have to be identical to match them.
Pollux laughs. It looks like Lyra is really enjoying the swings. He notices her looking at the stars and he looks up as well, enjoying the way they glint and sparkle at them, as though the heavens are watching over them.
“Do you think there are people watching us from up there?” Pollux asks. Castor shrugs.
“Must be. I think all the stars are watching us.”
“Like in The Little Prince.”
“Ehhh… like angels?” Lyra stares at the bright dots of light. “What’s the little prince?” She hops down from the swing and climbs up to the slide. She sits at the top and somehow it feels scarier than she remembers.
Castor nods and stands beside the slide. “Yeah...like angels!” He snorts when she asks about his twin’s favorite book.
Sure enough, Pollux’s head whips to Lyra and he stops moving on the swing. “You’ve never read The Little Prince?” There’s a note of incredulity in his voice.
“Nope.” Lyra moves her feet on the slide and smiles at Cas. “Pol, read it to me?” She glances at the boy on the swing. “Ohhh what is that?”
Lyra glances at a tiny floating light flashing near the end of the slide.
The twins both look where she’s pointing and their eyes widen. Curious, Pol moves towards the floating light, cupping his palms under it.
“It’s a firefly.”
Lyra slides down and stands next to Pol, then an idea comes to her mind. She looks up at the stars. “My wish came true, a little star fell from the sky.” Lyra grins at the boys.
Castor chuckles. “That’s what you wished for? That’s adorable.”
Pollux holds out his palms to Lyra. “Here, you can have it, Lyra.”
The older twin leans back against the slide and can’t help but keep smiling at the scene; seeing Pollux make a friend, even a ghost friend, gives him the feeling that moving here is a good thing after all.
Lyra grabs the bug carefully, bringing her hands together so it doesn’t fly away. She peeks inside and when it glows she giggles. Lyra lifts her gaze, the whole backyard has turned into a starry night.
“More… more stars fell.” She says letting the firefly in her hand fly away.
“The heavens must love you, Lyra, they let their stars fall for you.” Castor goes to her side and catches another firefly, but lets it go right away. He points to another one that lands on Pollux’s nose, the younger twin shaking his head wildly to avoid the firefly. They laugh, Pollux readjusting his glasses but marveling at the scene around them too.
“I never thought…” She jumps trying to catch a little star flying above her. “That the night is not so scary.” The darkness isn’t as frightening if she’s with friends.
The twins share a look and Castor wiggles his eyebrows, nudging his head towards Lyra while Pollux shakes his head and rolls his eyes. But the younger twin sighs and both of them get on one knee before each grabbing a leg and hoisting Lyra onto their shoulders. They stand and carry her, the fireflies bathing them in their warm glow.
Lyra holds on to them but after a second she feels confident enough to let go. She reaches for the fireflies. Her laugh is loud, and when she looks at her hands her fingers are glowing, just like the little stars.
She looks at the boys holding her… Lyra doesn’t understand what’s happening and won’t try to. Her chest is filled with joy and laughter and she wants to spend more time with her new friends. Her mom once told her that friends are like stars, and now she understands why.
The twins smile and laugh. Moving to a new place can be scary but with Lyra around, everything seems brighter, happier. The sound of their joy fills the backyard as fireflies twinkle and surround the three children.
Pollux stretches his hand and a firefly lands on his open palm. A relaxed expression appears on his face.

Pomegranate tea; at what point did they know they loved their s/o?

Oh. From the moment I saw her, I loved North. A lot of people say that can't happen, that it only happens in stories. But it's true. I just knew...I knew North is the one whose smile matters most to me. She's always been special to me and always makes me happy. I like to hear her laugh and I like watching her smile.
Maybe I didn't know it was love then. We were young. But my heart feels like it's running whenever I'm near her, even when I just think of her. It's running now. How I feel for her never changed since that first time. And it never will.

Castor the most fucking awesome star ever
Well hey there cutie ;) Thanks for askin’ me a question! Heh, this is a funny one hahaha but I'd have to say no, I don’t get jealous easily. Ly's my babe, my muse --no one can change that. You can try but her heart ain't gonna beat to your rhythm, ever ;) Because it beats at par with mine and when you got somethin' as special as that, nothin' can change it. She's the sunshine in my life and i'm her honey bunny~ I know she’s gonna be with me, and I know she’ll choose me ;)
But yeah, guess I get jealous too, sometimes. When I'm not in the mood, when shit's bad. When someone's all up in my girl's face. How do I show it? Lmao, I pick a fight, how else? And if they can't take a hint then I burn 'em!
Hope that answers your question, cutie ;) Hey come talk to me more, huh? ;)

Chai Tea; how do they spice up their relationship?
━━━━━━━★━━━━━━━
Lyra
Haha well, I can tell you that I do own a lot of costumes -- nurse, policeman, robber, nun, schoolgirl or teacher. I’m not afraid of trying new things or pushing the limits, mine or my partner’s, or taking initiative.
I can be good and obedient or demanding and bad… it depends on the mood and what he wants.
What can I say? I’m a generous lover ;)
I can give you details but I feel like someone would scream at me ahaha

DON'T THINK I'LL STOP ASKING black tea for POL :smirk:
Black tea; what do they look for in a person?
⋆﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤⋆
Pol
What do I look for in someone I'd associate myself with? Like a friend. Hmm. Obviously, someone who's not a moron. Someone who's interesting, honest. I enjoy talking to people who are real. Humans have been so obsessed with labels and statuses...it's tiresome to keep pretending, isn't it? That's why I enjoy talking to young children --they have no notion of status, race, color, labels...they are the most interesting to speak to haha. Young minds with no prejudices and who see the world from a different perspective.
I’m interested in meeting all sorts of people, but to be my “friend”, I suppose I’m looking for people I can trust. People who aren’t mean, who aren’t bullies. People who won’t force me to do things I don’t like. People who appreciate quality, not quantity. People who will help me grow and who I can help as well.
Ah, perhaps I can compare this to a book. I enjoy reading books that surprise me, books that are interesting and tell a good story. I like books where good triumphs evil. I like books that take me to places I’ve never been to, worlds formed from the deepest depths of the mind. Whether it’s a light read or a heavy one, I don’t mind, but I don’t like shallow stories. The books I’d keep on my shelf are books I can read over and over again and never get tired of them, I’m constantly learning something new about them and about myself.
Ah...I apologize for the long answer. I hope that made sense. Thank you for your question, Dana, and I hope you have a nice day.

Oh. Well I gave North a lot of bears...haha she likes those. And food. We both like to eat so we eat out a lot, I like going to places where I can grill meat for her. Oh, we're both also sporty, so we do a lot of things together, like swimming or hiking. When she can't sleep, I make sure to tell her to stay warm and make sure she knows that I'm always here for her no matter what. Hmm...oh, and I always support her when she has cheerleading competitions or during pep rallies haha North always cheers for our team, so I want to be her cheerleader too.
She's a really special girl and I knew I wanted to be the one who’s always standing by her side...so there :) Haha...I’m the luckiest because she said yes when I asked her to be my girlfriend.

Pomegranate Tea; at what point did they know they loved their s/o?

Oh, this is a good one. Thanks for the ask, Dana.
I don’t think there was a specific time when I noticed I had fallen for the best girl in the world haha. But I remember feeling my heart race thinking of her, her voice, her smile… the most beautiful. When I was sad I’d think of her and feel better, I was in love with her since the beginning, maybe since we met, because there’s no one else for me but her.
I don’t think you wake up one day and realize you’re in love with someone, you start feeling the need of being with that person, and slowly or suddenly your heart tells you how you feel.
I love her, even if my mind and my heart had never agreed, I love her.

“You carry the beauty of the sakuras -- I can't look away from you. You make my heart dance like the flowers swaying on the wind. And you take me far from the ground, the breeze of your laugh making me fly.”

Thank you Tsuki for the wonderful art of Kenji and Yuki, another pair for the Te Amica Mea series!
C: Whoa hey there, sorry I took a while to answer, cutie~ But I don’t think Dionysius is my daddy hahahahaha
P: I think they’re talking about a book, Castor. The series about Percy Jackson. In the story, there are also twins named Castor and Pollux who were the sons of Dionysius.
C: Yeah? Wow, we’re fucking popular then
P: Yes, but in Greek mythology, Castor and Pollux weren’t sons of Dionysius at all. No...Castor was the son of a king and Pollux was the son of Zeus.
C: WHAT! So you’re saying...their daddies are different? But they were twins? Man, I want some of whatever they were smokin’ hahahaha that’s fucking crazy
P: It’s a myth, Castor. Ah...sorry, we spoke too much. But no, we’re not demigods. We’re not the sons of Dionysius or Zeus. I hope that answers your question, and thank you for your interest in our story.

Hello, its been a while since we posted! We are happy to introduce two more characters in our series.
Meet Sei and North, our babies and youngest protagonists.
North is a hyper girl and Sei is a serious responsible guy.
We wrote a snippet based on an AU we thought would fit them, the cheerleader and the football captain.
Hope you like it!
。☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆。
Sei adjusts his duffel bag on his shoulder as he waits for his girlfriend on the field. The air still feels charged with excitement, schoolmates, staff and alumni still scattered around the area. Some people pass by and congratulate him for the win, and Sei manages to mutter “thank you’s” to them. To be honest, he does feel proud of his win, but he’s excited to share it with his girl, who’s disappeared into the locker rooms a while back to change.
Why do girls take so long in the restroom?
North pins her hair up and quickly puts her shoes on, the other girls giggling at the scene. “Is the football captain waiting for you?” One of the girls asks.
“So lucky!!” Two of the cheerleaders chant.
“Yes he is.” North answers putting all her things in her backpack. A mischievous grin on her lips, “Lucky? Yes to that too.” She winks at them and waves goodbye before exiting the room.
“Sei!!!!” North screams the moment she notices him by the entrance of the building.
Sei turns at the sound of her voice and sees North running towards him. His heart skips a beat and he braces his legs, opening his arms wide. When North jumps towards him, Sei bends his knees and scoops her into his arms, twirling her around once. A smile appears on his face, revealing his dimple. He loves carrying around his girlfriend, all 5 feet and 2 inches of her. With their huge height difference (Sei is 6’5”), he feels as though the only way to really protect his girl is to have her in his arms.
“Congratulations, Sei! You were amazing, you always are but we won because of you!” She holds his face, a big smile on her face. North cannot hide how happy he makes her.
Sei feels his face warming at her touch. He’s all too aware of her fingers on his cheeks. “North...thank you. But it’s because of everybody too, because you were cheering for us.” He brushes his lips on her cheek. “It’s because you cheered for me that I was able to play well tonight.”
“Because I believe in you, Sei. Because no one can do the things you can.”
A swell of pride bubbles in his chest and Sei beams at his girlfriend, happy that he could make her proud of him, happy that he could make her smile like that. He sets her down on the ground just as North’s tummy rumbles and she clutches the sides of her body. “I need food. I might pass out.” She says in a dramatic voice.
Sei chuckles and takes her small hand in his, leading her to his Jeep. “Well, the others invited us to pizzas and burgers. You want to go there?” Sei opens the passenger door for her and holds North’s waist, helping her into the car.
North yelps when Sei lifts her up so easily, she still gets surprised at her boyfriend’s strength. “Yes, sure, I can eat two whole pizzas right now.” Sei closes the door and goes around, when he gets in she’s staring at him.
"Why are you staring at me?" Sei asks, unconsciously furrowing his brows. "Is there something on my face?"
She laughs, “because I like you, Sei.”
His chest feels warm and his expression softens. "I like you too, North." He reaches out and strokes her cheek, gazing at her beautiful blue eyes before he looks forward and turns the key in the ignition. He can't allow his girlfriend to stay hungry like this. The Jeep roars to life and Sei pulls out of the parking lot, driving to the celebratory party.
“Did you see how high I could jump today? I think practicing with you is helping me improve my stunts.” North takes her water bottle from her bag and takes a big gulp from it.
Sei laughs as he glances at her drinking all that water. “Yes, I saw how high you were. I was worried...Are jumps that high safe?”
“They are safe as long as I’m careful, but you know the higher I jump the more excited the crowd gets. You were running faster today, are you getting extra training too?”
He nods. “Yes, I’ve been training a lot. I want to be worthy of my role as the captain now so I have to keep training hard. The coach has been helping me lots too, but all that training makes me hungry all the time.”
Her hand finds his and she smiles. “Sei, you don’t have to worry, I think you will be… hmm, you already are a great captain.” :smirk:
Sei laces his fingers through hers and smiles, saying nothing. If North believes in him, then he knows he’ll bring more victories for their school. They arrive at the restaurant and Sei jumps out of his car and jogs to her side, opening the door for her.
North unbuckles her seatbelt but doesn’t move when Sei opens the door. She blinks at him without saying a word and she points at her feet.
Sei immediately understands what she means. He moves close to the seat and then turns his back to her. “You have to hold on tight, okay?” There’s a smile on his face and he’s relieved he’s not facing her at the moment.
North leaps from the seat and lands on his back, her arms around his neck. His hair tickles her nose and she catches the scent of his shampoo. “Sei?”
“Yes?” Sei grabs her bare legs and holds her tight, taking his time to walk to the entrance.
Her fingers tuck his hair behind her ear and she moves her face closer to his, she kisses his cheek. “I love you.”
His entire being feels warm and Sei can’t help but blush. Although he wants to smile, an involuntary scowl appears on his face. “I...I love you too, North.”
Stop blushing, stop blushing! You’re a man...get a grip!
North smiles satisfied at her boyfriend’s rosy cheeks. She hugs him tighter and presses the side of her face on the back of his right shoulder. “When you hold me like this… the other girls say you spoil me too much.”
Sei feels her lying on his back and he relaxes. As long as she doesn’t notice his cheeks...he’ll be fine. “They do? Well, I like spoiling my girl.” And it’s true, there’s nothing he loves more than seeing North happy.
“I like it when you spoil me. I like being your girl.” North laughs, pure joy pouring from the sound.
“I like being yours.” Sei is grinning now, his dimple pronounced. They’re getting closer to the entrance now. “North, we’re here. I need to do something...so I have to let you down.”
“Oh, okay, Sei.” She lets go of him, he lowers her slowly until her feet reach the ground. “What is it?” North asks curiously.
Sei faces his girlfriend before taking her chin in his hands. Gently, he tips her head up so she’s looking at him. Without replying, Sei leans forward and kisses her, relishing in the softness of her lips.
North tiptoes, holding onto his shoulders and closes her eyes kissing him back. It’s a sweet kiss filled with emotions, the most important one -- love.
Sei’s eyes remain closed as he kisses her slowly, tenderly. His heart is overflowing with love for the girl in his arms. It’s a perfect end to a perfect night.
North smiles over the kiss and pulls him down. Sei matches her smile and leans in closer, deepening their kiss when all of a sudden, they hear noises behind them. Sei pulls away and they see the football team and the cheerleading squad crowding around the open door. The girls are giggling and they guys are giving Sei a thumbs up.
“I think we should join them.” North tells him before pecking his lips one last time. Sei was scowling at the guys but his annoyance disappears with her kiss. Interlocking his fingers with hers, he nods.
“Okay. Don’t leave my side, okay?”
North grins at him. “Never, I will be with you forever...” and a day.

Vanity
“Vanity is a desire of personal glory, the wish to be appreciated, honoured, and run after, not because of one's personal qualities, merits, and achievements, but because of one's individual existence. At best, therefore, it is a frivolous beauty whim it befits.“ -- Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
“I will make sure you never stop looking at me this way,” his face dangerously close, “like I am the only one you adore.”

The gorgeous face claim for Vanity: Corentin Huard
Hey guys! We're switching it up a bit and introducing some of the villains in the story. These antagonists will be the ones making the Trio's life a living hell. We won't reveal too much about them though --you'll have to wait and see what's in store!

LUST
“Lust is of "voluptuous emotions,"... sexual pleasures, "unloosen the human spirit," and set aside right reason.” -- Aquinas.
“Mmmm…” she crawls up his body and he adjusts to her, sitting up with one hand going around her waist. “I do like it when you beg, my little toy…”

All Hallow’s Eve is finally upon us and the Trio are excited to go to creepy places and wake up some spirits! This year, the three of them decided to dress up as anime characters! We hope you guys recognize who they are ;)
The trio did write a little something about why they chose these characters though!
Lyra as Nezuko from Kimetsu no Yaiba
I like her because she's passionate when it comes to protecting the ones she care for and she's a badass haha.
Castor as Rin Matsuoka from Free!
Hmm what's not to like about this guy? He's determined and a good friend, hella good-looking too ;) Plus, being him for Halloween gives me an excuse to be half naked, hahahahaha!
Pollux as Levi Ackerman from Shingeki no Kyojin
Levi is a well-respected and intimidating character whose heart is in the right place. I like how he keeps his wits despite highly stressful situations and how he is able to continue fighting. It's not that he doesn't feel, he does. Levi simply chooses to keep moving forward, to keep living and fighting for the future of humanity. He strikes me as fascinating, that's why I chose to portray him this year.
In addition to that...the Titans are horrifying creatures and I wish I could see them in person haha. It would be a nice Halloween treat.
Here’s the original art by @evv8 ! We absolutely love the fall aesthetics, thank you so much for always capturing our ocs so beautifully!!!!
We hope you have a great Halloween, ‘coz these three sure will! ;) (Pol is probably having the time of his life, since this is his favorite holiday lol!) Enjoy the tricks and we hope you get some treats ;)
