GISHWHES: The Preparation Guide
The List of Essential Things to Horde:
tape
glue
cardboard boxes
paint
safety pins
more tape
kale
recyclables and “clean” garbage
poster board, cardboard or something else that can be used to make a sign
chalk, markers, pencils, crayons, or other writing / drawing supplies
leaves/sticks/acorns/pinecones/rocks … although these don’t need to really be collected ahead of time
creativity
snacks and easy to prepare food. (when all of a sudden it’s 2AM and you don’t want to stop working, but you’re hungry darn it!)
scotch tape, electrical tape, duct tape, whatever tape
just buy lots of tape, you’re going to use it

learn to play an instrument. no, really.
Tell all your friends now so you can bother them later. They’ll still think you’re really weird, but at least they’ll know why
