Heading back to NYC after the trip of a lifetime. Can’t thank Daniel, Dave and everyone else who helped out along the way enough.
Tough 4-2 loss tonight to a great club, but a great experience for all involved!
Last tour of the trip - today we checked out the Alhambra in Grenada. Now we are headed to our final game of the excursion, hoping to stay undefeated!
As we enter our final day in Spain we wanted to thank Esther, our NYU professor who joined us on this once-in-a-lifetime experience and added so much to it!
All smiles in Grenada
En route to Grenada for the final portion of our trip!
Thursday morning we checked out Mezquita de Cordoba, which is also known as “The Great Mosque.” Looking forward to having free time this afternoon to explore Cordoba even more.
More highlights from this afternoon’s experience with our new buddies at the Tambien Foundation!
Easily the best day of the trip so far. Made some new friends from the Tambien Foundation and spent the afternoon playing games and having a blast with them!
Big 2-1 for #nyusoccer to improve to 1-0-1 on our Spain Tour. Great game and even better time talking with our opponents after the game!
Muchas Gracias to Professor Carlos from NYU Madrid for the walking tour of the city!
Played to a 1-1 draw this evening in a great setting. Thanks to our opponents from Alcobendas for hosting us. Game two tomorrow night!
No pictures allowed inside the Prado Museum, but the group had a great time. Next up: 8:30pm match vs. a local Madrid club squad.
Check out highlights from our first three days in Spain. Looking forward to making many more memories over the duration of this experience, including tonight when we take the field for our first-ever international match!
First of three games in Spain tomorrow, getting a few touches in before we explore Madrid again this evening
This afternoon we spent a few hours in Segovia and got a tremendous tour from Leticia, the newest NYU men’s soccer fan. We’re going to get a quick workout in when we get back to Madrid and then have some free time to explore the city.
We had a great night celebrating Real Madrid’s big victory, but that didn’t keep us from waking up early for a beautiful run around Madrid followed by a reflection class with our Spanish professor, Esther.
On to Segovia for the afternoon.
