I know a lot of fans say they have the best artist around...but, that's probably only because they haven't been introduced to ours.

Vincent isn't some lost-in-the-shuffle chorus boy he is the lead character and belts out several solos with amazing energy and enthusiasm.
David Belcher (ABQ Journal, March 29, 2003)
Despite opening with Nigel Planer (as an older version of Neil the hippy, from The Young Ones), the show is really carried by Tony Vincent, who has the charisma and the vocal talent to render the songs perfectly.
Sian Llewellyn (Classic Rock Magazine, Oct, 2002)
When Tony Vincent's sincere Galileo opens his mouth to sing, the hairs go up on the back of your neck.
David Benedict (The Observer, May 19, 2002)
Leading man Tony Vincent is a rock musician in his own right (he recently signed a new deal with Epic Records), and his vocal prowess means he can handle Mercury's startling range well.
Sian Llewellyn (Classic Rock Magazine, July, 2002)
If you are a Queen fan, even a non-Mercurial one, this production is a must. Tony Vincent shines as Galileo (wisely, not attempting a Freddie Mercury knock-off) and Hannah Jane Fox is a spunky Scaramouche.
Clive Barnes
"I Want to Break Free" - is sung by Tony Vincent, our first Galileo, and a unique performer. It was so hard in the beginning to find someone who could sing the part, act the part, and actually BE that rock star which he has to journey to become, in the play. Tony defined the role so successfully that these days actors walk into our auditioning room in the full awareness of what is required. Galileo has become a standard in the business which many young actor/singers aspire to - something quite new in the world of Musical Theatre.
Brian May (Classic Rock Magazine, July, 2002)
We were lucky to get him, says May. He's done a couple of albums and has played on Broadway, but we caught him just before he becomes a big rock star in his own right.

I'm very anxious that as soon as the characters come to the end of their journey, then the theatrical part of the show is done. That's when it's a rock'n'roll gig. I want to get people clapping, singing along and maybe even on their feet. At first I wasn't even sure that I should be encouraging it, as this is still a theatre. But I just went for it, and now we strive for it every night.
Tony Vincent (talking about WWRY in 2002) (#QuoteSunday)
We're here to present a fun and sometimes quite touching journey of two young lovers, wrapped around some of the greatest rock anthems of all time. How can you go wrong?
Tony Vincent (talking about We Will Rock You in 2003) (#QuoteSunday)
For those of you following Andrew Derbyshire's progress on Britain's Got Talent here he is back in 2002-03 when he worked with Tony Vincent in We Will Rock You UK (he understudied "Galileo")
What words do I use too often? "Brilliant" --But that’s because I’m an Anglophile, and because I think that the more times I say it, the more I’m English.
