i’m actually now rly fkn salty that i’m almost totally deaf in one ear..........

like i’ve recently been listening to more rock-oriented music and i just. straight up can’t hear some of the instruments if i use earphones/heaphones, which is 95% of the time

like i know i could just set all my devices to play music in monoaural but i have enough low frequency hearing in the bad ear to be able to hear a little of the spatial nature of stereo sound, so changing to listen in mono just makes it sound so flat and grey instead of enhancing the experience. i’m very grateful for having at least basically normal low freq hearing in that side, but i’m so, so jealous of people with normal hearing because like....if i’m already so !!!!?!?!!!???? at how good music and the world sounds like this, how good is being able to hear all of it!!!

i’m! so! jealous!!!!!!!! when will the future come where we can fix this! why couldn’t i have a form of hearing loss that was treatable, even if it’s by surgery or implantation! i’m actually totally screwed when i inevitably get age-related hearing loss in the future bc the one ear is all i have! i really hope that new hair cell-targeting regrowth drug or whatever realyl works and makes it to at least human clinical trialling before I die and that i can sign up!

i know i should be grateful for what i already have but i can’t help but envy the fk out of everyone with normal hearing.....imagine being able to hear good music in 360 degree surround sound! imagine just being able to hear directions in the first place! what a luxury!

as many of you have heard by now, hoya has come to the decision that he will not be renewing his contract with woollim entertainment. this is a shock to many fans, including myself and i know you are all going through a lot of emotions right now and that is completely normal. i understand and i am sure a lot of fans understand as well. but despite this, i have chosen to respect his decisions and will continue to support both hoya and infinite. i know many of you are going through a lot of emotions right now but i hope you all will be able to respect his decisions and understand that it took a lot for hoya to come to his decision. we were all well aware that he was going through some issues and it took a really big toll on him. howon took his time to think through his decisions and made them based on what he believed was best for him. i don’t think anyone else is in a valid position to prove anything different from this.

hoya is someone who adores and cherishes both infinite and his fans so much so i am begging you all not to leave any sort of negative comments for him and instead, send him words of encouragement and support. he needs it now more than ever and as a fan, i think this is something we can fulfill. i know this is heartbreaking for us all to accept but rather than focusing on what’s happening now, i really hope we’re all able to remember the past memories they shared together. watching howon grow as an artist and as a member of infinite along with the rest of the members was one of the best things they could have given to me as a fan and i will never take that for granted. this is very hard for me to accept too but we’ve got to start somewhere. individuals branch off to find their own selves and seek what they’ve been patiently waiting for.

i am beyond thankful for all the happiness, laughter, strength and tears of joy you have given to not only me but to inspirits all around the world. i love you hoya, and i will continue to love and support both you infinite with all of my heart.

I miss super junior so much....like I'm emo bc kyuhyun left for army yesterday and I guess that means we can finally end army rotations in 2 years but suju was honestly so essential to my growing interest in kpop that they're part of the foundations tbh I especially love kry + d because how often do you find such distinctive and unique voices in one group nowadays?? like I'm not shitting on newer groups but I feel like they pick vocals based on how they sound like a similar style but each main vocal in suju is SO different to each other and to other vocalists in general and idk man god really did good work on their voices

#fountoftrash #it's bc my hearing impairment on one side makes it so that i can only sorta hear low to mid frequency sounds #and i can barely perceive that sound is even happening once you go above that into higher frequencies #so like. i can kind of make out what deep voiced people say when they talk to me #but it gets worse and worse the higher the person's voice is #and sometimes i can only feel that sound is happening and not actually hear it #btob goes beyond that point to just straight up not existing to that ear sometimes lmao #lemme tell you #it's okay without all the adlibds #basically all of eunkwang #and half of the chorus #is Weird #note: the other ear is totally fine #this is only applicable to one ear so it's all g #its just i've been studying and listening only with one earphone LOL
