After over a year in the making, Teaspoon Translations is happy to release their FE3H translation site with side by side Japanese and English text comparisons. Follow for updates and comparison highlights!
This is a passion project with the aim to not necessarily provide “better” translations, but instead provide closer translations that convey the spirit of the original text for those that do not understand Japanese. Teaspoon Translations hope that visitors will use this site as a resource for comparing the official English and Japanese text in the game. It is a challenging process to try and capture the nuances from the Japanese text in translation; therefore, we would like to give the caveat that our alternative translations could have been tackled multiple ways in terms of word choice, tone, etc.
Note: Character information, explore dialogue, and events have mostly been covered. We are still in the process of reviewing supports, Goddess Tower conversations, and endings - as well as tweaking the website itself! Updates will be posted here.
