Chara flops back onto the floor staring up at the ceiling. “How far away is it? Can you take me there? I’m bored as hell down here. Been wandering around the place for longer than most of the monsters have been alive.”

“I would.. Bu’ I’ve got some enemies there.” The cyborg shifts, messing a bit with the metal on the leg. “The kind I don’ exactly like to see.”

Yep.

“I’m fuckin’ bored.”

“Jeez. They better be careful up there. Sometimes people aren’t great at accepting changes like that… also those are fries… or.. wait do you just call them chips where you’re from? That’s weird.”

She doesn’t seem like she’s trying to be offensive. Clearly she has very little people skills. Not enough to make the monsters afraid of her though. Strange. She at least looks and partially acts like a little kid. And yet the restaurant has become noticeably emptier than when Shade got there.

She doesn’t seem to mind. She’s not very intimidated, doesn’t see any reason to be. She doesn’t intend on insulting the kid.

“Yeh we call em’ chips, no’ sure why.”

“I seriously doubt you’re over 800 years old…”

She rolls her eyes tossing a fry at Shade’s face.

“Still though. Haven’t any more shown up outside of here yet? A lot of them left…”

“You’ve got me there,” She manages to catch the fry before it hits the floor, and pops it in her mouth. “Good chips ‘ere...” She orders herself some and finishes off her drink.

“Yeah, a lot ‘ave been ‘surfacing’ according to news stations n’ shit.”

Chara looks up at her and tilts her head “The barrier is down here though… None of them made it over there? Is it just really far away?” Her eyes narrow slightly as she finishes off her fries and grabs the other tray “Also I’m older than you. I’m not a kid.” Rude child is invading thoughts again. Or maybe she just guessed based on the look she got. She gets it a lot.

“I meant after the first war with Monsters... Not all of em’ were pushed underground. Some just hid.” Shade frowns at you, raising a brow.

“’ow would ya know my age? Telepathy? Rude...”

“I have no idea where any of that is… do they have monsters too?”

Huh. Looks like curiosity overrides the murderous tendencies. She’s stopped looking up at Shade’s face and is now staring at her metal arm. She wants to poke it but she’s a biiiit too short. She’d have to get up for that. Instead she pokes the metal leg.

She seems to instinctively move her leg away, clearing her throat in a sort of ‘fuck off’ sound.

“Er.. Probably. No’ all the monsters made i’ down. Some were able to stay cause’ they look human, y’know?” She takes a gulp this time. Kids.

“I usually don’t care but ok. What’s your name?… and what’s London? Wait… where’s London?”

She’s settled herself onto the floor with her fries and is slowly devouring them. Grillby went off to get another batch. The child eats like a horse.

“Th’ name’s Shade. London is a city in Great Britain.. Which is sort of this largeish island near Europe?” She shrugs and takes another slightly larger sip of her drink.

“I don’t give a shit. I wanna know where you came from. Why do you sound like that?” Well someone’s never been outside of America…

She successfully resists the urge to laugh, and keeps her calm composure.

“I’m from London. I sound like this because tha’s whot I grew up around. You gonna ask my name?”

“…..” She creeps closer like the creep she is. “Yo. Who the hell are you? Whatcha doin’ here? You look human. This place is for Monsters….” Chara! That’s rude!

She doesn’t even other glancing at you, just shrugs.

“Nobody else seems t’ ‘ave a problem with i’.” Her accent is thickened slightly by the alcohol. Or she just doesn’t give a shit. She’s not wearing her trench coat, she put it on her stool before sitting. It’s fairly obvious her limbs are not all flesh.

Code peeks her head into the timeline after seeing an unusual variant in the code. She looks around Snowdin following the odd footprints right into Grillbys. She’s obviously different than the others. She doesn’t walk, she floats and Monsters tend to shy away from her. Grillby usually seems indifferent though. She’s been in this timeline before as Grillby sighs and gets her an order of fries before she even gets to the counter. She’s clearly spotted Shade and is not so subtly checking her out.

She not-so-subtly raises an eyebrow at you in return. Her goggles are down, but you can tell she’s looking at you. After a moment she shrugs and sips her drink, humming a tune nobody here would have heard.

There’s a new human wandering around. She’s wandered past the ruins, somehow managed to talk her way past Toriel. They had some tea, and she left happily. The woman doesn’t seem to mind the strange creatures she encounters. She seems familiar...

Ah, that’s it. She was a General in the war.. Well, many wars. Nobody knows what side she was on, really. She respects the monsters here, they even let her into Grillby’s. She asks for a tasty drink. Something light on alcohol.

“Er... Migh’ as well answer the question,” She shrugs.“I’m not actually sure...”“I like dogs.”
