“Hey you, sorry I went quiet last night, fell asleep reading”
The TARDIS recreated you from Zagreus’ mind. That’s why each of you has one of the Doctor’s faces.
(not exactly what manta-rays-on-gallifrey asked for, but close!)
Argh. I was using “Provost Tepesh” as an alias last week and couldnt figure where my brain had pulled that from!
ZAGREUS!
Fallout76 what we were hyped up with vs what we got…
40′s slapstick act where a clown creampies someone
Considering who I’ve dated in the past, I’ve been creampied by plenty of clowns already
slapstick? sounds more like a dream date
Moffat Appreciation Day 2018
So many episode of Doctor Who in the Moffat era have broken my heart, and I love them for it. Beautiful tragedies with a glimmer of hope, a reason to stay optimistic. No one wants to say goodbye, and it hurts to admit that nothing lasts forever, but there’s always love, a redemption, or a ray of hope within the pain.
I very much enjoyed Doctor Who tonight! The music score was also brilliant but I also wish they didn’t add the song ‘Rise Up’ at the end of it, I thought it kind of ruined the moment but overall, I absolutely loved the whole episode.
Also, I love Ryan Sinclair and Yaz Khan friendship!
Agreed. Hate when they put songs over the top of scenes (looking at you Vincent and the Doctor..)
I was more annoyed they put it over the credits, I ADORE the new theme arrangement
You know what really has my eye twitching..?
That teeny tiny police box isn’t centred correctly as it spins..
THANK YOU OMG-
£180 of Benny anyone..?

YEAAAAAHHH NEW BENNY ❤️❤️❤️
News, interviews, videos and pictures from the first showing of the new series of Doctor Who.
We’ve heard the press slagging off Peter left and right from the beginning of his tenure, but to read something like that from the BBC itself feels like an insult and a slap in the face to everyone who loved Peter Capaldi (and there are many). There’s no way for me to express how much I love Peter Capaldi and his Doctor and so many people on here and on Twitter and Instagram and in the real world feel the same. Over the last years, we’ve watched every episode, bought the rare bits of merchandise that we got and when I look at all the amazing Twelfth Doctor cosplayers and the amount of money they put into recreating his costumes and props, it just makes me sad that the BBC feels this way about my favourite Doctor. Not to mention all those convention photos, especially with young kids, who “clearly didn’t love Peter”.
So, yeah, I think that did it for me. Goodbye DW!
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard a statement like this, and it blows my mind this keeps happening. Or maybe it shouldn’t? The sad part to me is that because the trash-talking of the 12 era has happened several times, it’s clearly a popular enough opinion that enough people feel it safe to speak, or post in reports where it’s totally unrelated and unnecessary to bring up.
Let’s be real here: this is not how you treat an actor who has been nothing but a wonderful ambassador for the show. This is not how you build hype. You don’t build up something by tearing something else down, especially the previous era of the same show. This is so basic I cannot believe it has to be said, and I really hope there is a BBC staff member shitting their pants right now about this. If they don’t redact the statement, then I will be absolutely disgusted at how unprofessional they are being and how they clearly don’t care about alienating part of the fanbase or their previous lead actor.
This is the straw that broke my back. I am DEFINITELY done with Doctor Who now. I had been sitting on the fence (willing to give this new regime a chance), but no longer. That is horrible treatment of the best ambassador Doctor Who has ever had. I was willing to allow other earlier derogatory comments to slide by, but now I am officially DONE! I, for one, won’t be watching any longer!
I don’t like the tone of the statement one bit. All I will say is that it’s the opinion of a BBC entertainment reporter (someone I’ve never heard of) rather than the show itself.
I worry that this is the official line of many senior people in the BBC, but have to give them the benefit of the doubt
I’ll just reblog my own thing for the comments because they’re so right.
Sorry what the fuck? Capaldi was a legend. His era is important to me, as the other doctor eras are important to different people. You can’t just fucking write off a part of the show like that just because ‘everyone’ didn’t like it. Most of the dislike was blatent ageist attitudes. Can’t believe the audacity someone had to write this. It was clearly published by the wrong people - I can’t believe everyone on the show would think this. There’s too much respect that goes into making Doctor Who for this to be the case. If this truely is the widespread opinion, if they really are going to turn a show which reveres its past into a competition, they can fuck right off. I’ll just rewatch twelve for eternity.
Excuse me? This is disgusting and absolutely unprofessional and I am so sick of shit like this. Besides being blatantly ageist, it disregards the entire point of the BBC being neutral. They have no right to slag off an actor’s time on the show when the actor themselves is still technically an employee at their own establishment. They didn’t do this with Matt even after series 7, they didn’t do this to David, they didn’t even do this to Chris after his disagreement with the production team. I am sick and tired of hearing and seeing shit like this virtually everyday, especially from people who haven’t even watched Peter’s time on the show, just because they fancied someone younger or maybe the change in tone was ‘ruining their show’. My entire family even professes how much more they love Peter than previous Doctor’s and how they can now finally understand my love of the show, he deserves the right to be treated decently.
This is what really bothers me about the whole who circus at the minute
Retroactively slandering the past to aggrandise a new era?
Just go away BBC.
I’m sticking to Big Finish from here on out.
When the fuck does Braxiatel get his own boxset and spin-off??
