“It's okay. Um--” she hesitated, not exactly wanting to mention how her hearing went south and as a result, playing instruments became a much harder feat than before. “No, not really. Just, trying to take one day at a time. Another season on MTV should be fun, though.”

Flint breathed out a heavy sigh. He could admit when he’d overreacted, which was good since it wasn’t exactly uncommon. “Alright… Rewind back to animal videos.” He hit the replay button on the video that was still on his phone. “Well, replay but that’s good enough.”

She sighed in relief and whispered a soft thank you. "So snakes, are actually quite adorable and surprisingly not very terrifying to hold around your neck-- y'know, like until they start crawling up in your hair and get stuck," Nora commented as the video played again.

“Well you don’t seem like one of those annoying people, so I won’t make a run for it right now,” he joked, “maybe you’re a part of my good fortune for the day.”

"If you do end up making a run for it, I'll make sure to give you a head start," she joked. "I'm no lucky grasshopper, but I can bring the good."

“So, do you need something? Or are you just going to stand there and stare? Which isn’t very polite, by the way.” Malia didn’t bother to look at the person standing in front of her as she looked at her laptop. Of course, this wasn’t good for the new image she was trying to create for herself, but as of right now, she was too annoyed to care.

The sensory overload she was currently experiencing was one of the worst ones Nora has had in a while. This dull sensation of a headache was not helped at all by the ringing in her ears; the ringing that she still had yet to get used to. "Huh- oh! Sorry," she said with a frown, suddenly noticing the girl speak. Don't get her started on how much harder hearing was becoming. "I spaced out a little and didn't mean to stare at all."

Malaya giggled at that. “I’m gonna have to agree on that one.”

“But Godzilla was a damn good classic movie. I was momentarily blinded by my love for it. Godzilla the monster can eat shit.”
