My dear anonymous, the misconception is evident, I won't stay here to talk to you about how art is anything that arouses emotions even in just one person, even just in the one who creates it.

I won't waste time explaining to you that art is in the creative idea, not in the medium with which it is created. I won't go back to the medieval "if you don't get your hands dirty with color then you're not making art".

The problem arises from the fact that you consider generative AI as an automatic and cold system, and that is wrong, to create a single image you can take hours.

For some I make a sketch by hand, then I pass it on to the AI after thinking and creating a prompt (and this can take hundreds of attempts), when an image satisfies me I fix it on Photoshop and if necessary with the graphics tablet I fix the details, then I pass it back into the AI to upscale it, improve the textures and standardize my manual corrections.

The artistic effort is mental, don't make everything technical, your reasoning gives victory to AI over men, if art is just knowing how to use a brush and not the mental part of the artist, technology has already won and we are obsolete.

Let's learn to use technology as a tool to improve ourselves, not as an enemy against which to lose.
