Okay so I saw a post from a sterek shipper saying that stydia and stalia made no logical sense and that just made me really angry because how does sterek make sense in anyway? Its abusive, derek thinks of stiles as skinny and defensless. If you really love stiles then you wouldn’t want him to be in that kind of relationship. And that poll about stydia and stalia, it didn’t involve sterek so all of a sudden its homophobic? Why cant sterek shippers just deal with the fact that not every person ships sterek and that people actually feel bullied or intimidate by the shippers?

I'm not an Allison hater, but didn't Gerard tell Allison that it was Derek who killed her mother? She attacked Boyd and Erica at her own choice to try to get back at Derek. I mean she could have just gone after Derek, but she didn't. Even after Scott tried to explain what had happened she still took her anger out on Isaac. I mean yeah she was manipulated, but you choose to do what you will with the information you have.

It saddens me to see all the hate that Allison gets. She made some harmful choices, but those were not hers. The reason Allison attacked the wolves in season 2 was because Gerard manipulated her. People blame it all on her, but really, she is such a strong character, and one of the only three female leads. She gets so much hate for her past actions while asses like Jackson are praised for the shred of character growth they receive and it is just so sad.

It’s annoying how whenever I say that I don’t ship Sterek, people automatically assume that it is because I am homophobic. I’m not, and in fact Scott/Stiles is one of my favorite ships. I just think that in canon, Sterek is an abusive relationship, and would be very problematic in real life. I honestly think that in a lot of fandoms including the Teen Wolf one, fans have a tendency to ship love/hate relationships without actually thinking about the consequences of the relationship? People seem to favor sexual chemistry over romantic chemistry, and I think that is kinda the only reason anyone ships Sterek. And it’s okay to ship whatever, but people should realize the potential abuse in the relationship.

I get that people not liking your ship sucks. I get it. It's one of my least favorite things and I've had minor tantrums about it on twitter. It sucks to feel like you can't enjoy something guilt free (but people should still be responsible you know??)

However naming and shaming people that post in a specific tag for the purpose of talking about what they don't like about the ship is really wrong. Especially when a lot of the people that that are "victims" of the naming/shaming have asked the people doing it not to interact with them. And screencapping people's blogs after the fact definitely counts at that.

Just because tumblr's privacy options are nonexistent and render most interactions public and not limited to a person's personal circle, that doesn't mean that private posts aren't still private. That doesn't mean that you should ignore them telling you to get off their blog. That doesn't mean that disregarding someone's requests to stop messaging them, to stop reblogging their posts, isn't incredibly rude and disrespectful.

It's really creepy that it's now utterly unsafe to tag anything with "teen wolf fandom problems" or "lol sterek" because it means that certain people will go and screencap your blog and talk about how you're a bully. 

The person in question isn't calling out people using ableist or gendered slurs against sterek shippers which would be more than understandable. It's any comment like "why is colethewolf/andartha in our tags" or anything implying that they have no lives for doing this.

What next? Can we expect doxxing of people that post in the tags with negative opinions to come next? Because that's what it seems like we're heading up to and that's really scary.

Honestly, the grouping of fans started after the anti-Sterek fans insisted on grouping together all Sterek fans. Since anti-Sterek fans have always looked at Sterek fans as nearly one entity, Sterek fans have begun to do the same in reply.

i feel like anti-sterek "fans" don't even care how disrespectful they're being by generalizing the entire sterek fandom, especially when they say we're all racist. i've experienced racism from almost every race (I'm mixed with 4 races, including black) but i don't hate anybody for it. to assume I'm a racist or say that i have self-hate issues because i apparently "promote" scott and boyd erasure is offensive. they're taking out their poor experiences with a few people on an entire group.

The reason is because blogs with a lot of followers usually have a lot of influence over how people treat others. So when someone with a lot of followers comes into the tag and starts saying anti-stereks are bullies, his/her followers tend to believe him. Because not only is it common for people to believe someone who shares their interests and who's popular, it's also common for people to immediately believe someone's ignorance if it's against a group that doesn't like something they do.

there have been shitty parts of fandom forever. People have sent out anon hate and death threats since forever. Sterek fandom do it, anti sterek fandom do it, every fandom I've ever been in has shitty parts of the fandom that does it

and yet nobody else seems to hold an entire group to blame for the actions of a few?

I just want all the unfair scott hate to stop. Canonically, he's the least hate able character on the show and a lot of people in this fandom twist and degrade his character so much that the kind, selfless, smart (yes, SMART) Scott we see on television is turned into this selfish, dumb, thing that's not even him anymore and it just makes me want to overturn tables all day. That's really why I can't stand 95% of sterek fandom, because they're generally the ones behind it and Scott deserves better

I keep having to change blogs, change my url, close my ask box, etc. All because of hate from Anti-Sterek "fans". I'm so tired of being bullied by them. One of them even threatened to try to find out where I live so they could report my boyfriend for being a "pedophile" and get us in trouble because I'm not 18 yet. They don't realize that their toxicity and close-mindedness affects real people in the real world. They need to just stop criticizing things they don't understand.

it feels like a week can't go by without some new drama for between the sterek/anti sterek shippers

and I don't understand why the sterek shippers can't just leave us the fuck alone so we can all enjoy this tv show?? 

like, you're not being "censored", I don't think you know what censorship is. Sterek shippers who have a problem with pages for posey and/or team wolf with love come across as whiny children, because look, you already had your thing
