First time at the beach!

We took Toby to the beach for the first time! It is about a 30 minute drive to the beach from where we live, and he did super well on the car rides there and back! He followed my boyfriend into the water and got a little wet. The weather and water were super nice and not too cold, thankfully.

After a nice walk on the beach, we went to a seaside restaurant that allows dogs. We sat outside and ate dinner while I fed Toby pieces of the dog biscuits the waitress gave us. He loves food, so he was very happy about that! Toby has been such an amazing little dog, and I cannot wait to see what other adventures we can take him on!

First time at the park!

We took Toby to our local lake park for the first time. He walked the whole loop around the tiny lake! He was a bit hesitant when we saw some larger dogs, but he enjoyed saying hello to some of the other small dogs visiting the park.

When we took him into the grass, he found something that must have smelled really good because he started rolling around in the grass! Silly pup! He also saw a couple of small birds and attempted to chase them.

Speaking of birds, there’s a small zoo near the park so we took Toby over to the outer fence to look at the flamingos. He seemed really interested in them! He’s been such an amazing little dog, and I think he had a lot of fun at the park!

Toby sleeps in the weirdest positions. How is that comfortable?!

For Valentine’s Day, we got Toby a tennis ball that’s just the right size for him. I think his eyes say it all - he loves it!

Sunshine

I found a tennis ball in the yard, and Toby has claimed it as his. There’s a stringy bit of yellow fuzz that he’ll grab onto to carry the ball around the yard with him, and it is hilarious watching it dangle from his mouth as he struggles to run with it! He brings my boyfriend and me so much joy! ~<3

Daddy’s warm lap!

Toby REALLY loves sleeping and lying in his daddy’s lap. My boyfriend is always super warm and with all the cold, rainy weather we’ve had Toby is very glad to share that warmth!

Check out my toy!

My parents got all of the dogs in our house some plush toys for Christmas 2020, and the dogs share them. Here is Toby with one of the plush toys, hanging out in his daddy’s lap! Toby loves plush toys and enjoys thrashing them around. xD

Can’t get over the cuteness!

Every once in a while, I look at Toby and get teary-eyed thinking about how cute he is and how much I love him. It is so awesome having a puppy and watching him grow up!

Wet ‘n’ Fuzzy

We’ve noticed that when Toby gets a bath he gets SUPER fuzzy looking! His adult coat is really coming in, and he’s looking more like a little terrier now.

The Toby Tuck

Peekaboo! Toby loves to tuck himself under the blankets whenever possible. If we let him, he'll go all the way underneath the covers and curl up next to us.
