Everything happened so fast and so easily.. It was so wonderful, that it was impossible to stop.

They just met.. but they seem very cozy.. Is it love at first sight?

I don’t really believe in that..

Maya had just moved to a new country. Her apartment was starting to look like home, but some things were still missing. She had no friends, no family and no boyfriend. She had left everything behind. It was time to live life, for her - not for everyone else. For 6 months she had been living in a hotel, trying to find a house. Finally she had found one. The next day Maya went to a local supermarket. At the supermarket this cool-dj-looking fella stumbled right against her shopping cart. “I’m.. I’m extremely sorry!” the man mumbled and stared the floor of the supermarket. “Oh! No harm done.. umm.. have a nice day!” Maya said quickly and pretty much ran out of the supermarket. The man lifted his head and their glances met for a brief moment. (We are talking about nanoseconds here..)

Maya got home, put her groceries to the fridge and sat down to her sofa. Suddenly someone knocked on her door. It was the mystery man from the supermarket. “I hope it’s alright.. I kind of followed you here.. because..” “Because?” “Um.. you just caught my eye. I need to know who you are.. I mean.. If it’s okay and all..” Maya smiled shyly and opened the door completely. “Oh, yes. It’s alright. Want a cup of tea?”

Eeli moved in with Jo-Ethel.. Everything went like a dream.. but things started to go downhill very soon.

Jo-Ethel: “Eeli, I have some big news! I’m really excited about this.. I hope you’re too.” Eeli: “What is it, Jojo?” Jo-Ethel: “I.. We.. I’m pregnant! We’re having a baby, Eeli!”

Jo-Ethel smiled so widely and waited for Eeli’s reaction.. which wasn’t the one she had expected.. Eeli’s face went from happy to shocked and then to angry.

It had been 3 weeks. No calls from Travis. No nothing. Jo-Ethel started to think that maybe this was for the best. It wouldn’t have worked.. it would’ve been too difficult.. and maybe weird. After all, Travis was her best friend.. Jo decided to start everything from the beginning. She went out alone and met this handsome, exotic stranger - Eeli. Eeli knew how to sweep her off of her feet. It was something exciting and new. Jo and Eeli went on a few dates and they just clicked.

“I think I like you”, Jo whispered one evening to Eeli. Eeli smiled widely and caressed Jo’s cheek gently.

“I think I like you too”, he smiled. “I know it may sound all sudden and all that.. but.. I think I want you.” “What do you mean?” Jo asked shyly. “I mean.. I want you for myself”, Eeli answered and started to undress Jo, then carrying her into the bed.

This was the night, that was about to change everything.

On Saturday night Travis texted Jo-Ethel. He asked her to have a drink with him. Was this a date? Apparently no, but there surely was something in the air. An old man joined their conversation at the bar so they couldn’t really get alone-time.. Later Travis walked Jo to her house.

“Okay, well this is it. This is me”, Jo-Ethel said and leaned a bit closer to Travis. “So..” “So..” “Oh kiss me already!” Jo-Ethel screamed in her head but maintained silent. Another silent minute went by and Travis started to look very nervous. “Well, I had so much fun. Hope you did too.. Uh.. I-I better get going now.. BYE!” Travis said suddenly, turned around and left. “Shit..” Jo mumbled and opened the door. She went inside and shut the door behind her then collapsing towards it. “Shit..shit.. shit.”

“Soo.. I’ll guess I’ll see you around then?”, Jo-Ethel laughed shyly. “Yea..mmh? Not if I see you first!”, Travis returned to earth.

Jo left but when she had walked a few meters away she looked back and saw Travis shaking his head and mumbling himself something. “Not if I see you first?! What the heck was that Travis? What the heck... Now she must think I’m an idiot.. Great..”
