A Proper Goodbye
Well, it's no secret that I've been away a long, long while.
And it's probably no secret that I don't plan to return anytime soon.
At the beginning of the summer last year, after countless anonymous attacks on those in the Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom, Spockward founded a movement: Love Is My Movement. For a long, long time, I'd been searching for a movement to dedicate my time to. This was the movement I chose.
I created this account in order to help others. Remaining anonymous, I reached out to users who seemed like they could use a reminder of their beauty or someone to talk to. The first few months of owning my account were some of the happiest times I can remember. Helping people, I quickly concluded, was the greatest feeling in the world. And finally, I felt like I was doing something, making a difference.
Sadly, life got in the way. My life changed drastically in so many ways. And slowly, but surely, my interest in Tumblr faded.
Did I- do I- ever want to stop helping others? Of course not. But at this moment in time, Tumblr is not the tool I wish to use to reach out to others.
I have created an anonymous Twitter account, which I use to spread the good news of our Lord and His son Jesus Christ. At the moment, that's what I want to do. I want to speak freely of Jesus, and show others the good He's done in my life. To inspire them to reach out to Him.
Thank you all for giving me such a great run on Tumblr. I cannot thank you enough for introducing me to the joy of bringing smiles to broken faces.
I have met some amazing people on here (namely shylilmelody, along with many others as well) who I hope to stay in contact with. I will still check this account occasionally, so if you want to catch up, please, don't hesitate to send a message.
And maybe, just maybe, I'll be back someday.
If any of you would like to find me on Twitter, message me and I will share my username with you.
Thank you all again. I love you, so much. Stay strong.
God bless you all.
