Okay, but.. Imagine a Solas who decided to try to fix this world in another way. My Lavellan Dalish clan was pretty much wiped out, but since she was the god damn Inquisitor and fixed relations between all people of Thedas (Including the Vints as much as possible) I imagine starting up a new clan would be a pretty simple task. Would she be the Keeper? Hell no, you know who would make a great Keeper? Solas. He knows so much about ancient elves, and the Inquisitor Lavellan has so much diplomatic sway I’m p. sure other clans would finally listen to Solas about the past. They would make such a power team and literally transform the way all of Thedas views Elves, including the Elves themselves. Bonus? They would do away with the 2-mages-per-clan bullshit, since Divine Victoria did away with circles and the mages are experiencing a new form of acceptance in Ferelden. They have the power to bring about elf/human peace, and Solas would finally have a home he wouldn’t have to worry about any more.
Imagine Dalish clans building towers to the sky once more, imagine all mages coming together to preform beautiful spells together, studying together, learning together. Existing peacefully with each other and the spirits around them.
Okay, honestly I’ve been replaying Inquisition non-stop for the past few weeks and I can’t get enough of this egg-head. He’s so wise and fierce and loving and.. Amazing. He would make a great papa.
