“Kiddo, you’re gonna have to try and get him when he’s not paying attention.”
“I can do that.”
thesassycircus:
“If dad gets mad, him and I will end up showing you how to wrestle tonight. How about that? And I’ll kick his butt like I always do.”
That got him laughing, the grin on his face bright. “Okay, Mom.”

“Adrian, mommy wants to show you how to shoot a gun, okay? And then I’m gonna show you how to surprise your father with crotch kicks.”
That got a grin, “Won’t dad get mad about that?”

“Why are girls so confusing?” One girl in particular, but he was gonna try and be smooth about this.
Sarah laughed, just imaging what Loki looked like when he was talking to him. “Yeah, I bet that’s rough. I think it’s funny enough when boys come home and have to deal with my Dad, but dealing with Loki? Whole other ball park,” she admitted, nodding and then pondering the question. “I feel like fries, so burgers?”
“Dude, I wouldn’t want to be left alone with your father either, and I’ve known him since I was born.” True, he would be far more comfortable if he was having to deal with Uncle Steve rather than Loki. “Burgers sounds awesome, let’s go.”
@icxnhxndleit ♦
“Well, ya are. So you should get flowers all the time!”
Sarah laughed and nodded again–he did after all have two spies for parents. “Then it’s just you and me feeling a tiny bit sorry for ourselves? Sounds about right,” she teased, winking at him. “I’m not saying we’re the two that get the ditched the most, but…we’re the two that get ditched the most.”
“Maybe just a little.” He laughed, “Are you kidding? I’d rather stay here than deal with her father making evil eyes at me. If it wasn’t for Edda, I think he’d used some magic on me by now.” Adrian grinned, “What do ya wanna go get to eat?”
Sarah honestly had to agree with him on that, nodding. “I’ve never really been good at taking it easy. I blame my father for that, but I know that the only one to blame is myself. So…in the spirit of taking a break, what say we grab a bite to eat and catch up? The little sis has a date so she ditched me, and James is at the mansion today with Aunt Andy.”
“Hey, look at who you’re talking to. I know all about the parent thing.” He supposed all the kids had that in some way, shape or form. Joys of being the next generation. “A bite to eat and catching up sounds awesome. Edda’s off in Asgard today, and mom and dad are off doing their thing.”
Sarah smiled a little bit and then it faded. “It means I’m using my powers too much. Mom’s way more powerful, so when she overexerted, she got nosebleeds because her body had had enough. I get them occasionally too when I overuse. It means more practice, but I should listen to it because it might aggravate my asthma.”
“Edda get’s headaches and I tell her the same thing. Practicing is one thing, but you don’t need to push yourself too hard.” Course, he’d done the same when it came to his own training, but that was only physical...so totally didn’t count, right? “Taking a break sounds like a good idea.”
“It was just a nose bleed, I’m honestly fine. It happens sometimes: my mother used to get them too, I’ll be okay. Thanks for the concern though.”
“You should still be careful. Just because Aunt Angel had them and that it just happens sometimes, doesn’t mean that it’s not something to be worried about.”
“Good,” she said as she ruffled his hair and then took a deep breath. “That twisty feeling is nice, isn’t it? I remember when I first actually met Steve and couldn’t get a word out really because of that feeling. Just be good to her, Mister.”
He laughed, “It is. And my heart gets all fluttery when I spend time with her.” Adrian smiled brightly, “Sometimes I ramble, I think she thinks I’m crazy. I will, Aunt Angel, I promise.”
Happy Valentine's Day
“Oh sweet lord.”
OC questions 6, 12 and 27
Interview my OC about questions that has no easy answer.
6. If you tell the truth, an evil person gets to walk away free. If you lie, you may be able to send them away like they deserve. Is honesty worth more than justice?
“Honestly, first thought would be to lie. Because if I could send away people that have hurt the people I care about, I would want to do it. I’d be able to live with myself over it, but then I think about the people that I care about, I wouldn’t want to upset them and I know they think that I am better than that. And they are the ones that I would be letting down if I did lie, no matter how good the outcome would actually be. So, I guess I would end up telling the truth.”
12. If someone else stole something and you stole it back is that a good deed, a bad deed or one of equal worth? Are you better than the original thief?
“Course, two wrongs don’t make a right, no matter what the issue is. I don’t see it as being very equal either, but if I needed to steal it back I would. Doesn’t truly matter if it is a good deed or not. And no, you’re not better than the original thief, you’re just the guy stealing it back for some reason.”
27. How far would you go to achieve a dream or ideal? Does it matter who suffers? Does it matter if you suffer?
“Depends on whose dream or ideal. I wouldn’t really want to make people suffer in order to get something for myself or others, but I am more willing to go farther if it’s for someone I care about. It doesn’t matter to me if I suffer, doesn’t matter if it’s my dream or someone else’s, I know that to get what you want, usually you have to suffer. And I accept that.”
