The air was cool yet humid from the stormy weather that had been passing through. At the moment though there was a lull in the storm allowing for the late night scene to come alive once again. City lights reflected off the wet streets causing them to twinkle alongside little white lights that were strung up in the trees that bordered the sidewalk.

Electric blue eyes glanced up at hollow sockets as he walked alongside the doll. “I still don’t understand the purpose of going to a bar. You do realize that alcohol has no effect on me correct? Even with this new body the substance does nothing.” He told Dominic. The machine hadn’t been to the downtown party district since his Master first started dating Leevi. He had never been into a bar or club with the purpose of just enjoying himself. In the past he was always just keeping an eye on his Master.

 “Are you even affected by alcohol?” The machine questioned, actually a bit curious about that now. Unsurprisingly the android didn’t outwardly appear as though he was having any fun yet. Even if he didn’t know the purpose of going out like this he still enjoyed the walk with the doll.

A curled smile made it’s way to the dolls lips and he started with a hum, then a purr. “Now, wouldn’t that be fun to find out?” The flicks of British at the ends of his words, or the bass of his voice added the playfulness to his words. “I’m old, petal. An old man like me enjoys the flavour of a nice whisky. Or a brandy from time to time. You’ll understand in one hundred and twenty years or so, petal.” The doll chuckled.

He began to look forth, and take note of the shimmering colours. But his favourite was the fluorescent glow just a step beside him, the reflection of Adam. Perhaps thinking too into it, but Dominic thought of the blue haze on the floor as a soothing reminder that Adam was right beside him.

“Have you not been to a bar? It’s for socialising, petal. Some of my greatest friends have been met in places like those.” Dominic readjusted the umbrella in his hand and began to shuffle through his pocket. He pulled his phone out and held is before the smaller. “Will you show me how to take a picture?”

”If I’m still functioning by then.” The machine replied, meaning to be more playful than grim. Adam still needed to work on the expression in his tone when he was trying to joke though. The dullness of it often left people guessing as to whether or not he was being serious at times. “Well, so long as I’m not carrying an old man home tonight I don’t care what you drink.” He added, giving the other a rather teasing gaze.

“I have been to bars and clubs before but only while monitoring my master. I understand that humans commune there but I still don’t understand the attraction to such places. Often humans drink more than they should and get themselves ill, or sleep with people they never intended to. It just seems like a place for humans to make poor decisions.” Adam explained.

The android paused beside the other as he asked for help and pointed to the phone screen. “It’s the camera icon remember?” He said as he tapped it, causing the camera app to open. “Now just aim and tap that button there.” He instructed.
