Odysseus' eyes widened as he stared at the girl Infront of him in disbelief. He couldn't believe it. His daughter, the sweetest of joy he's ever known, standing Infront of him, all grown up. Oh, how time has flown by. Last time he saw her, she was nothing but an innocent infant in his arms. He remembers holding her every night, soothing her to sleep when she got too fussy, staying awake deep in the night just for her, refusing to let the maids take his place.

And now look at her, standing infront of him, all grown up. Yes, she's a bit bloody and battered, but still, he couldn't help but feel proud of his wonderful girl. She's grown up so much.

He felt tears prick at his eyes as he watched her move towards him, but he fought them back. He was her father for gods' sake. He shouldn't be crying Infront of her.

Telemachus was still a bit out of breath from- you know- the fighting and all, but now that there was nothing to worry about anymore the amaze of finally seeing his father again overrid all that as he looked at his father.... it was surreal to finally... actually see him, and not just a painting or statue... "Father...-" he uttered, aproaching the other

"you just changed your name."

"Right.... and I'm a boy"

"and you're a boy." He repeated instinctively then paused when he realized what he said. "Wait... You're a boy?"

"That's- the main thing, yes- "

"That's... New." He was a bit slow to process it, but didn't sound upset. "How'd you... Figure that out?"

"Welll.... I don’t know it just always- felt... wrong? And then there was this one time where I tried to like look like a boy pre... all this, to maybe get to train and it worked for a bit honestly! And uhm yeah I've never felt THAT comfortable to just... exist? So I started doing it even outside of the training thing and... it was a slow process of me realising what it may be and now this is what I am?" He tried to explain it as good as possible

"uhuh... Okay. Yeah, I think that makes sense?" He noded slowly, still processing his new information. "So.... You're a boy then..? Does this mean I have a son?"

"Mhm! Are you..... fine with that?"

"Ofcourse I am. Why wouldn't I be?"

"It's just.... a lot of people haven't been...... and- well I guess the change mighr be weird..?"

"I don't mind at all. I promise. man or women, you are still my child. So what if I have a son and not a daughter? You're still the same person I fought to get back to. I would never find this weird."

He was quiet for a moment, literally looking like he's about to cry.... (/pos)

Telemachus at this point was genuinly trying not to fucking break out in tears because of the pure joy he was feeling right now, His father was back... the suiters were gone... his father knows about him being a... well him and ACCEPTS HIM **AND** his father basically just said he looked masc, which he had been pretty unsure about lately, this was literally joy overload, so much that instead of the tears he tried to hold back he let out a SQUEAL unintentionally

*Odysseus giggled quietly at the squeal.* Oh darling....

"This is so-" he tried to start, but stopped not finishing the thought

"may I... Hug you, now? If that's alright?" He's still a bit worried about dirtying Telemachus despite him also being bloody

Telemachus didn't even answer and literally jumo hugged Odysseus now because he was still a bit on the 'omg he accepts this' high and more

Odysseus doesn't hesitate to wrap his arms around him back. He holds him tightly and lifts him a bit off the floor. "I've missed you so much. I can't believe you're actually back in my arms again. After so long."

"It's... insane" Telemachus mumbled a little, he really could not put how insane this was into words... it was- wow

"it really is." He held him a bit tighter. "..I can't wait to finally get to know you, son."
