I rubbed out the two trees in the centre, as they stood out too much, and instead put smaller trees elsewhere.
After a lot of penciling in an rubbing out, I finally settled with the final composition.
I had some trees in the foreground, but I thought they would block the view and flatten the cured composition and perspective I was going for.
I want a dramatic composition that emphasise the curved composition.
I also added an lake that wasn't in the reference to relect the golden Mountains, symbolizing endless prosperity.
Sketch for a painting I will be making.
The painting is a request from my parents. They like paintings that have meanings of good luck and prosperity. Therefore I will be painting some golden mountains for them, while using the Galty Mountains from county Limerick as a reference for this prosperous painting.
I first got my Mom to pick some paintings from an art book and I jotted down some common features from the paintings she selected. She took particular liking of a painting of golden mountains by the Chinese artist Li Guo Sheng, saying how it symbolizes prosperity and that it would be great to have a painting like it.
To me, composition is the most important aspect of a painting, and since I have time on my hands to paint this painting, I decided to play with the composition.
I tweaked the original reference photo to my liking so that the painting curves inwards.
A recent drawing in progress.
My drawing homework. Had to draw a copy of the printed drawing from an art college in China. Honestly, It doesn't look that bad in the photo 😚
I can feel myself getting a better grasp of proportions and the anatomy of the human face 😉
A drawing I took some time to draw on a life model. She was keep on moving, so I tried my best.
My goal was to find as many structural lines as possible and present them clearly to show the anatomy of the face. For this reason the drawing in the early stage of the model looks older than the actual person, but I am going to progress furthur to add shading and detail and soften the lines.
I am happy with what I have achieved today, as I have improved a lot compared to before. I will continue to do my best! 😊
The drawing doesn't look as good as it does in real life, but the camera has captured most of the details.
Did a 2min drawing of my bro to annoy him for annoying me today 🌝
It's a very quick sketch amd not the best quality, but in the end I managed to get my desired results so I am happy ╹◡╹
Father's Day is coming up and quarintine is still up so I decided to paint my Dad a painting of bubbles.
I experimented with different materials to paint with, including toilet rolls and plastic forks.

Premiere Pro animation: Trees
A video I made using Adobe Premiere Pro. I learned how to make animations using the in-app tutorials and decided to put my learning into practice :)
Made another video using Adobe Premiere Pro.
I recorded this video process to use it as a subject for experimenting with things I have learned from Premiere Pro.
I have decided to have my 6 look collection theme on mitosis.
Since there's little time, I need a slimmer source of idea, since one idea keep giving rise to another and it will take me eternity to finish using all my ideas ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥᷄⌓˂̣̣̥᷅ )‧º·˚
Also, it makes the collection feel more cohesive and in one collection.
Watched the Givenchy Haute Couture Spring Summer 2020 Show.
I try to watch a Fashion Show or related on YouTube when I have time nowdays, as recommended to me by the tutors.
I randomly pick a video to watch from the YouTube Fashion section, and not just the ones I like. This way I can broaden my horizon.
I found this fashion show to have started off simple, and follow on with more complex forms like the purple dress in this GIF.
I found the large hats, wide belts and buckles, and the volume to be some memorable parts of this show.
Although it's not up my alley, I did enjoy the atmoshphere set by the lighting, staging and music of the musicians.
I hope I can see a show in person one day.
Added grey tones and purple on the buttons. He looks very polished and metal (¬-¬)
