"Jetstream? Are you overcharged?" Stretchers gonna chuckle.
Jetstream's head haphazardly swung to face Stretcher, his face lighting up

Whirlwind shook his head at his brother as he entered the room with another glass of normal energon. He talks over the sound of Jetstream kind of drunkenly sounding out "Stretchy Stretchy Stretchy"
"He's been like this since he got back from his bar last night. Primus only knows what he got into."

Jetstream wandered around. He wasn't sure where he was, but he didn't care. He'd had enough high grade that his circuits were probably fried.
With a wobble, he half walked, half fell through the doors
And promptly scares Quiver who had just been about to lock said doors when a figure appeared out of the darkness and fell on him knocking them both to the floor.
The sound he lets out isn't quite a shriek but it's close enough and it's nothing short of a scramble as he tries to shove the mech off of him and get back on his pedes. A hand may or may not have slapped Jetstream on the face in the mad rush to stand back up and only the absolute stench of high grade is keeping him from truly panicking.
Once he's up again though and gets a good look at who fell on him he vents out a sigh in relief and shakes out his wings from the high position they'd been in. Always better to know a very drunk friend (brother of a friend?) fell on you than a complete stranger.
Time comes bounding down the stairs just as he bends down to retrieve his dropped datapad.
"Is that Jetstream?" She asks with a giggle before sliding to a stop next to Quiver. "He reeks like he chose to wear it instead of drink it."
Crouching down to poke Jetstream in the face with the corner of his datapad Quiver let's out a curious warble as Air Lift joins them all back on the ground floor.
"Are you alive in there?" It's not often Quiver shows his sense of humor but this is a fairly rare exception. "I'm sure you'd rather not be come morning."
As Jetstream lay there, he groaned at the poke and rolled onto his side away from Quiver.
^Ffffive more shycles, dammit. Fffraggin Gigaloniansh are diffi-*hic* hard to out drink.^
Like a switch being flipped, Jetstream jolted back to semi-conscious. Sitting up slowly with a hand against his cheek where he'd been slapped.
^Where the pitsh am i at now? Ish thish friggin Iacon? It'sh all cleeean n scrap^
He looked around, trying to assess what the hell he was doing. His eyes settle on Quiver first then Time Breaker and Air Lift
^Oh heeeeyyy, Quiv, you fraggin party-tron, you. How arree you doin? And you guys too, Fraggin friendliest *hic* medics i've ever seen. Yyou guysh partyin too?^
"Why would you even try to outdrink them?" Quiver asks not even bothering to try and hide his amusement. In fact, there's a round of snickering from all three medics at the inebriated state Jetstream was in before Air Lift shook his helm and turned to Quiver. "You found him so... not my problem."
"Mine either." Time piped up even as she crouched down next to Jetstream to wave. Just because she's not going to consider herself responsible for clean up or care of the drunk mech doesn't mean she isn't going to stick around. The same can't be said for Air Lift though who fetches a cube of standard midgrade and hands it to Quiver despite saying he isn't going to help. "I'm going back upstairs to sleep."
^One of them washhh trying to fffraggin gatekeep the bar and I wash like ‘You can’t make ush leave just caushe you’re as *hic* big as your ego.’ and he wasss all, ‘if ye’re sho tough, why not have ush a wee lil wager?’ Sho i went against him and we’d have to leave ifff he outdrank me, and he’d uhh *hic* well yknow. Jokesh on uh.. him though, caushhe he was already like 3 or 4 drinksh in and caushe o that we *hic* .. uhh tied. ssho we all hung around and were ssingin uhhh i think he *hic* called them tavern tunesh until the bar closhed and i got a lil losht headin home. Heheh^ Jetstream waved back at Time Breaker, an uncharacteristically chipper grin on his faceplate before he tried to stand up. He didn’t succeed, but yknow. Points for trying. His face did start twisting up a bit. A hand shooting up to cover his mouth like he was fighting something back.
Neither of the two remaining medics pay much mind to Air Lift leaving instead being far more busy trying to interpret the drunken slurring of the mech on their clinic floor. Once Jetstream is done recounting his tale of drinking though Quiver is the only one to facepalm while muttering how absolutely ridiculous of an idea it was to try and drink them under that table. At least he ended up friends with them rather than a bar brawl. Otherwise taking care of Jetstream would be far more difficult he thinks.
"Might as well move you somewhere more comfortable. Come on, I'll get a berth ready so you can nap while we wait on Whirlwind to come get you." Setting the cube of midgrade down on the counter he turns to start hunting down the things he already knows he's going to need. Let the mech pry himself off the floor since he was apparently able to talk and did manage to get to the clinic on his own after all.
Meanwhile Time Breaker was gleefully recording the entire time and making sure she got a good view of that wide grin covering the other mech's face. That is until he tried to stand and said face suddenly screws up like he's about to- oh no!
Leaping back out of the way she nearly knocks into Quiver who has managed to procure a bucket and thrusts it straight at Jetstream.
...welp. That may be it for her tonight. She doesn't want to have to wash that all off of her. Why risk it?
Jetstream’s arm whips out and grabs the bucket before slamming his helm in it and violently purging. to his credit, he got it all in the bucket. He sets the bucket down and just kind of lays there for a moment to recover. before he tries one more time to stand up. This time was actually successful, though he was still very wobbly. He picked up the bucket and look around for somewhere he could sit and somewhere he could dump the bucket out, It is unknown in which order he’s looking for them, though.

a little bit of writing
All was quiet at the home of the twins and co.
Whirlwind and Jetstream had gone on separate endeavors. Whirlwind testing some work he’d done on the Pulsar as well as gathering new ideas and parts for gadgets he could create, Jetstream trying still to come to terms with who he was by travelling and learning.
Jigsaw, Wildstar and Galactica had been keeping things in order. Informing clients that whirlwind couldn’t take new orders until he returned. Keeping both shop area and home area clean. Sometimes playing around, sometimes partying at the usual spot.
Finally, after stellar cycles had passed, the morning came with the sounds of two starcraft landing.
Galactica, interestingly enough, was the first one out the door with Wildstar and Jigsaw trailing behind.
As Whirlwind emerged from the Pulsar, he was tackled by Galactica. Impressively, Whirlwind had gained some grit in his travels and was not knocked over on impact for once. Jetstream transformed and walked over to his brother. the two, though one had his arms mostly full, managed a fistbump of greeting before Galactica shifted around behind Whirlwind so the brothers could properly be reunited.
“Long time no see, Jet” ^No kidding. It’s been crazy^ “I bet.” All together again, The five bots made their way into the house to share the stories they’d amassed in their travels.
Whirlwind and Jetstream were glad to be home.
"Jetstream... Sit still. Stop starring at them. You'll blow my cover."
^But I feel like I know those two.. or knew them. It’s bugging me. plus I want to be ready if they do something.. stupid.^
Jetstream leaned against the bar and took a sip of his drink. man. This would have been easier if it were at HIS bar instead of this place. At least there he could distract himself.
“They won’t. We’re all decepticons here, remember?” She gave him a sinister grin. Calling the bar keep over she displayed a holocard of the mech they were looking for. “One of my clients needs some parts. Seen him?”
“A rotary huh? Haven’t seen one of them since the combaticons back in the old days… wait… Yknow what, i think I did see this guy.. but my memory’s not the best.”
Jetstream’s vents flared and his battle mask snapped shut in an intimidation attempt.
The Barkeep jumped back. Worse than an assassin and worse than a bounty hunter. This was a top member of Megatron’s elite assassins AND the most feared bloodhound in the faction.
“Point made. He wandered in here two solar cycles ago. Left with a Micro-combiner team after a couple a drinks.”
“Got any names? Or am I going to have to show your patrons what your drivetrain looks like?” She gave him an evil grin, pulling a slim scalpel from a compartment on the inside of her wrist.
“Trample, Chainlink, Starfire, Silverwind and Downburst. That’s all I got.”
Jetstream pulls his data pad out and runs the names.
^‘Lightning Mercenaries.’ How creative.^
He puts it away and leans towards the Barkeep.
^Better have been telling the truth. Neither of us are particularly fond of getting had.^
“That was all I know. i swear!”
^I hope so.^
The tool was put back in its place. “See where cooperation gets you?” She gulped down the last of the energon before her before standing and striding for the door.
Jetstream kept his mask shut until he was sure they had gotten clear of anyone else.
^Holy slag, that’s not easy to pull off after the recoding. Glad I still have a reputation around the Cons at least.^
She nodded. “Same here. Glad to know I’m still intimidating enough.” She paused to survey the street corner before crossing. “So do you have any reason for insisting this autobot?” She asked, keeping their appearance. “Other than parts of course…”
Jetstream shakes his head and gets back into character.
^He’s an inventor. Plan is, take what we need, make him build what we want after.^
“Sounds good. I heard he’s good at quite a few things. You might just get a few upgrades too if he doesn’t perish first.” She laughed.
^That’s a big if. But let’s focus on finding what we can. Seems this particular branch of mercs has a plave. they thought it was well hidden, but i have it right here. oh well^
Jetstream transforms and takes off for the location on his list.
She also transforms, jet trails visible as she takes off after him.
Jetstream landed outside the building as quietly as he could. once he was sure he was out of anyone’s direct line of sight, he cycled through his available weapons. his right hand switched from a plasma sword to a buzzsaw to a flamethrower of all things and then back to a hand.
His Left switched to a path blaster, Submachine gun and sniper in turn.
A quick diagnostic revealed several hidden mini-missile arrays as well as a high frequency laser cutter.
Primus. with all he does know about, what all happened to him as a con that he DOESN’T remember.
She landed shortly after, thumbing the long gun on her hip. “I was wondering when you would figure out how armed you really were.” She chuckled through the comlink they shared. Her emp blaster was produced. “Ready when you are. Put on a good show for your bro. Make him believe it or we’re gonners.”
Jetstream nodded firmly. He kept a Path Blaster out and kicked the door in as hard as he could. It flew into the smallest one, Starfire, knocking him out cold. the other four bots snapped their attention to the doorway, where Jetstream stood as stone cold as he could manage. all but one of them recognized him and Chiller instantly.
Trample: Frag! Who the pits is here that they needed to call YOU two at the SAME TIME?!
Downburst: We don’t want no trouble.. Don’t tell us someone managed to afford you for some revenge schtick on us?
^Gentlemen, Gentlemen. Take it easy. We aren’t here to kill you sorry clowns. And not even to old cogs in the ‘golden age’ could have afforded me. No. We’ve got a little shopping list from Shockwave and he plans to give me some upgrades that’ll make the current me seem ancient. Chiller. Mind grabbing what’s ours?^
Chainlink, the leader, stepped in the way.
CL: Look, Jetstream was it? We get it. Shockwave gets what he wants, but this little scrap stays here until he tells us where his little girlfriend is.
Jetstream keeps his composure, but pings his cohort.

^Not up for debate man. Find some other way to sort out your personal slag.^
He switches his other hand to his buzzsaw and gives it a good spin.
“With pleasure.” She grinned sinisterly, stepping forward. She frowned when Chainlink stepped in front of her. “Out of my way or I’ll dismantle you in front of your friends.” She hissed, batting him out of the way. .:Who knows:. Came her reply.
Once her optical sensors found him, she grinned. “Ahhh, there you are! Shockwave is paying us a pretty penny to find you. Whatever he’s planning must be pretty big.” She laughed, yanking him by the shoulder and dragging him along.
“Let’s go. We’ve kept the boss waiting long enough.”
^Last thing I want to have to do is deal with Cyclops more than I need to.^
As Jetstream turned to leave, he nonchalantly shot Chainlink in the knees.
CL: GAAAAH
Trample’s immediate reaction of charging at Jetstream was met with a Path Blaster aimed directly at his processor.
^I may not be getting payed to kill you, but I sure as Pits will if you do something this stupid again.^
He shot Trample in the thigh and left.
Once they were clear of the place, Chiller activated her thrusters and locked her wings, taking flight with her prey still in hand. There was a little bit of damage to him, she noted. The tiny pests must have tried to interrogate him. She pinged Jetstream. .:Ok so I get that those microcons want Galactica but what were they going to do once they found her? She’ll hand them their skidplates on a titanium platter.:.
.:^I’m more curious as to what those crankshafts did to Whirlwind that they caught HIM at all. He could have blown them to Moonbase 2.^:.
When they found a place out of sight and Whirlwind was sat down, Jetstream took the cuffs off. there was a flash of movement, but Jetstream instinctively caught Whirlwind’s Right hook at the wrist.

Alright. He knew a lot of moves, but Whirlwind disconnecting his arm and dropkicking him was both uncalled for and disturbing. Jetstream flew into a nearby wall and landed hard, dropping the arm in the process, which Whirlwind quickly reconnected and converted both his hands into a pair pulse cannons aimed at the two before him.
Whirlwind was silent as he started to back away from them for an escape.
“Oh for slags sake!” Her emp was up in seconds. “Put em away whirlwind!” She tapped on the fallen twin, trying to see if he was ok. Once she was sure he wasn’t compromised, she focused on the one with a cannon pointed at her head. “Don’t you dare… I will use my emp cannon!” She scolded.
Jetstream was still trying to process, quiet mumblings that only Chiller could hear included.
^his freaking arm. why didn’t he tell me anything happened to his arm? could he always do that? and he just drops it in combat like a lizard?^
Whirlwind converted one cannon back to a hand and poked a button on his forearm. A groundbridge opened directly beneath his pedes and he fell through with an impish grin on his face.
“Whirlwind wait!” She yanked Jetstream on to his peds and sprinted after him to the bridge.
Jetstream snapped out of it, picked Chiller up and chucked her through the bridge seconds before it closed. he immediately took off for home, seeing as that was the only place it made sense for that bridge to go.
Meanwhilr, Whirlwind was caught off guard by the airborn Chiller and locked himself in his lab in a panic.
She was immediately on her feet and at the door to his lab. “Whirlwind! Open the door! Don’t make me blast my way in there!”
Suddenly, Chiller is tackled by five minicons. They cling to her arms and legs to try and pin her down.

Jetstream leaned against the bar and took a sip of his drink. man. This would have been easier if it were at HIS bar instead of this place. At least there he could distract himself.

“A rotary huh? Haven’t seen one of them since the combaticons back in the old days… wait… Yknow what, i think I did see this guy.. but my memory’s not the best.”
Jetstream’s vents flared and his battle mask snapped shut in an intimidation attempt.
The Barkeep jumped back. Worse than an assassin and worse than a bounty hunter. This was a top member of Megatron’s elite assassins AND the most feared bloodhound in the faction.
“Point made. He wandered in here two solar cycles ago. Left with a Micro-combiner team after a couple a drinks.”
“Got any names? Or am I going to have to show your patrons what your drivetrain looks like?” She gave him an evil grin, pulling a slim scalpel from a compartment on the inside of her wrist.
“Trample, Chainlink, Starfire, Silverwind and Downburst. That’s all I got.”
Jetstream pulls his data pad out and runs the names.

He puts it away and leans towards the Barkeep.

She nodded. “Same here. Glad to know I’m still intimidating enough.” She paused to survey the street corner before crossing. “So do you have any reason for insisting this autobot?” She asked, keeping their appearance. “Other than parts of course…”

Jetstream landed outside the building as quietly as he could. once he was sure he was out of anyone's direct line of sight, he cycled through his available weapons. his right hand switched from a plasma sword to a buzzsaw to a flamethrower of all things and then back to a hand.
His Left switched to a path blaster, Submachine gun and sniper in turn.
A quick diagnostic revealed several hidden mini-missile arrays as well as a high frequency laser cutter.
Primus. with all he does know about, what all happened to him as a con that he DOESN'T remember.
