An Update

I’m going to quit my job and spend 2026 traveling the world (Europe and Asia at least). I’ve told people I want to take time off and travel for ages now. I’m putting my foot down and doing it. There’s nothing left where I am and I want to experience this before my parents get older and need more help. I don’t even care if I fail. At least I can say I tried. My savings should cover about a year. I’m not sure if I’d last a year. I’ve read multiple people saying they reached 9-10 months and decided it was time to head home. Besides the necessary planning, I’m ready to see where life will take me. I followed the usual path of college to work and maybe that’s not the life that’s meant for me.

I have three months to figure this out. I go to Rome in a couple weeks and afterwards, I’m going to get heavy in the planning. Six months ago I told myself I’d love to spend New Years in Paris… maybe it’s being manifested.

Most of life is about doing something and not just daydreaming about it.

And I'm trying to pretend that I'm creating something instead of consuming. It's not great. I tried the morning pages from 'The Artist's Way'. Made it to day three and then ripped them up. Not sure if the method is for me. Maybe evening pages?
