Charleston Cave, like a lot of the other of the underground recesses of the Mojave was dank and chilly, and Eliza Jo regretted not bringing her poncho in.

After most of the radiation and mutations settled out, places like this were home to some profitable plants and fungi, so they were worth checking out.

Unfortunately, they were also home to many creatures.

I’ve been replaying New Vegas and I forgot how good it was. Arcade is a legend and is 100% the stand in dad to this gremlin. 

Arcade met Trevor when she walked into the Followers of the Apocalypse, scraped up by a gang of kids. Turns out she had been harassing one over his toy gun and he and his friends got her to stop.

Arcade asked why she would want a toy gun. Trevor said it was to get revenge on the rat bastard who shot her in the head and showed off her sick bullet scar. Mildly alarmed at this girl’s sheer gall to beat up kids and chase people who shot her in the head, he became a reluctant companion.

Updates!

Sorry about the lack of updates over the last week. Been getting ready for final exams, so it’s been a bit crazy.

First of all, i’m currently writing out all the planned quests for the mod on a google document along with enemies and items that can be crafted. The player should be able to merge a good amount of items together using both existing codes as well as random bashing together, although getting a ton of new items is more long term and may be added later as an addition post release. However, I have begun working on one custom weapon: The Bottle-Rocket Hand Cannon, which will be the first new item a player receives upon arriving at the Asteroid. The mesh is nearing completion, or at least a state where i’m comfortable with it. At that point i’ll begin working on animations and such, as well as adding it to Fallout: New Vegas.

Beyond that, i’ve also been writing dialogue, which is going slowly due to the massive amount i’ll have to churn out. More on that later.
