i can definitely see the reasoning behind steve keeping the nail bat being that his first encounter with the demogorgon legitimately fucked him up that badly, but

but

in my mind it's purely a matter of convenience. like, i fully believe he looked at the nailbat post demogorgon fight and thought, "okay well. we can't guarantee we're NOT gonna get some use out of it" and also "like hell am i sitting down and breaking a thumb trying to piece together another one of these fucking things, i've got a game on friday"

Well Shit.

I fractured my leg, and am out of work for like 3-5 weeks. I’ve already been out for 2 and have no way to cover the rest of the time. Can’t really stand for 8 hours a day with a broken leg unless I’m asking for more trouble. So I’m doing commissions to make sure I can still pay my bills and afford groceries, etc etc.

So wooo hooo emergency commissions on the market.

i genuinely have to know because atp i heard so many mixed opinions about season 5 and also season 4 is one i hated with such an intense passion that it is hard to fathom even another gigantic train wreck as being anything other than a marked improvement given that the bar, for me, is rotting in hell where s4 left it....

SO. taking into account everything, highs and lows, from the (alleged?) steve character re-railment and clusterfuck coming out scenes, which season, even if it's just by a hair, by a WAFER THIN SLIVER, do you guys think is better?
