In HEMA we typically celebrate our birthdays by fighting one exchange for every year we've been alive. Here are some choice exchanges from my 37th birthday. I'm finding "that's just another person to mog" is a surprising useful reframe when someone does something that triggers me. It's like a version of "let them" with the added benefit of being so stupid that I can't take myself seriously after I say it.
