The Third Edition de la Vertical Santiago del Teide 3/29/2014

With the ever famout Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, there is much more to come throughout the year. In just a couple weeks, 3-29-2014, III Edition de la Vertical Santiago del Teide begins at 17:00:00. This exciting sports event starts out in the harbour of Los Gigantes, and takes you all the way to the Square Santiago del Teide. Adventurers will begin their trek up the volcanic mountain after first traveling 10 km through asphalt trails, having two beverage stops in place along the way. This would definitely turn your vacation into one that you will never forget!

Upcoming Events and Weather in Tenerife

For this weeks seven day forecast in Tenerife, the temperatures are going to be between 16 & 23 degrees, Celsius. It is amazing weather, other than some rain toward the end of the week.

Everyone is very excited and waiting impatiently for the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. This is the same time of year that Mardi Gras is going on in the South in New Orleans. The two everlasting Carnivals and parades are much loved by the locals and the tourists, as is Mardi Gras. Where else in the world could you have all of this entertainment mixed with the mountainside, as well as the coast of the Atlantic. It's a truly exciting time in Tenerife right now!!
