artists tend to be extreme empaths. We feel our emotions very outwardly. Well, I really can only actually speak for myself, but it seems the general consensus is that we are all super in touch with our feelings. Which makes sense, but it’s not in a way that shows “emotional intelligence”. We just express so much so often, we get drained. That turns into depression, which turns into a whole lot of other things. A lot of times I think about what my contribution to this world will be; How I will impact people, how people will view and speak of me in my absence. I’d like to think I’m a good person and I truly have good intentions with the things I do. But also, I feel like it’s just human nature to want to be liked and or loved. In some capacity. Part of that is the reason why we ruthlessly fuck up or excel. Does that make sense? Like, we want so badly to be liked, respected, or for some people, just known. Of course, I do things out of the goodness of my heart but also, we have to admit that there is a bit of ego involved. Which isn't a bad thing, it’s just the way it is. Regardless, being a kind person feels so fucking good. Doing something for someone, in any capacity, feels just as good to me as it may feel to them.
hey, you. i wish the happiest of birthdays to you. hope your day was dope as shit, filled with positive and euphoric vibes, and that you're livin your best life with no ragrets🌱 much love

Rest mac .
Heavy is the tongue that bears truth
I feel the wait of my words.
searching, gathering.
they huddle like frightened children into the corners of my mouth,
aching for something bigger to come and hold them.
heavy is the tongue that bears truth.
the same lips that refuse me say yes to you.
seek refuge in you..
Is this why outside eyes follow me unkind?
the flesh they can’t see behind?
How could it be that god does not understand me, when he knows of my suffering? Of my willing heart still?
Do you feel the weight of my words?
Now that I can speak?
when I grow tired, will you carry them for me?
I’ve lived enough to speak piece.
learned enough to speak only of peace.
my pride is not a sign of the world’s end.
my desire to not be labeled is not of rebellion. or fear.
it is freedom

note to self .but not really
of course love is real. it’s the purest thing that exists for us. the only thing unaltered by this world we created.. these systems we agree to live in. it’s a feeling you can’t escape. it will happen to you. it is only when you truly feel love, that you understand life. nothing else matters. money, material possessions, opinions...
