Mod’s Comments: It’s safe to say that this thing murdered me. I was such an emotional wreck by the end of each chapter (it made me cry in the middle of a craft store). The characters are written so well and the writing, in general, is just exquisite. Plus Shiro with Altean heritage is my new favorite thing.

Title: a little bit funny, this feeling inside

Summary: 

“You’re like, what, a fucking Snow White now?”

Yahaba looks up from where he is engaged in the semi-worrying number of birds that are currently trying to perch (nest?) on multiple parts of his body. “So, what can you do?”

At that moment, a crow chooses to dive down to join Yahaba’s little party, giving Kyoutani a face full of feathers as it shoots past. In that same instance, Kyoutani monotonously recites, “A crow’s brain-to-body ratio is equivalent to that of a chimpanzee’s, and not that far off from a human’s.” Then: “FUCK!”

“Holy shit,” Yahaba breathes, because this is gold.

It is 5:45 AM, on June 1st, in the Miyagi Prefecture, the night a comet fell from the sky and suddenly everyone has weird powers and Yahaba attracts birds and Kyoutani is a walking animal documentary and this suddenly all hits, because Yahaba cannot stop laughing.

--- In which Oikawa Tooru can read minds, Yahaba Shigeru becomes Snow White in all but name, and Kyoutani Kentarou involuntarily learns a shit-ton of animal facts and is constantly red in the face (for more reasons than the obvious)

Oh, also— the sexual tension is obvious enough that a crow has to play matchmaker.

It’s so hard to find alfoan centered fics, but although it’s short this little ficlet is worth a read. I'm amazed how much character depth coran is given in such a short fic. I wish there were more Alfoan fics like this one.

The writer is one of my favorites of all time and sadly they don’t write much votlron anymore I do recommend anything they have written.

Mod’s comments: Honestly one of my favorite fic writers of all time. I probably read almost everything they've ever produce. Their writing style is has a sense elegance, but also very clever and witty. Their Shallura fics are alway top notch actually their one of the reasons I'm such shallura trash in the first place. They way they write Shiro and Allura’s dynamic is so thought out and well executed. Anyway, I suggest starting with The Princess and the Paladin if you want to get a good feel of their writing. It’s a series of shallura drabbles so all the chapters are relatively short. (check notable fics for the link)

Mod’s comments: This fic is written in second person. Normally I hate second person with a passion but the author just made it so funny and well written and natural??? like i didn’t believe second person could be this good until I read this fic. It is so hilarious and the interactions are just a+. There is also wonderful art drawn for this so that’s a nice plus.
