And this will sound very Japanese of me, but I love it all, even the scent of the rain.
When I was younger, I loved the rain so much that I’d get myself soaked because I wouldn’t carry an umbrella around. There are even embarrassing stories from people living in the same condominium who’d seen me out there.

Today is the birthday of Koizumi Hanayo from μ's!
Although, deep down, Kayochin had doubts about becoming an idol, in actual fact she loved idols more than anyone and took a step forward to achieving her dreams.

On September 21, the digital seiyuu idol group 22/7, produced by Aki-P in collaboration with Aniplex and Sony Records, held a mini live performance to commemorate the release of their debut single, “Boku wa Sonzai Shiteinakatta,” at the Sunshine City Fountain Square located in Chiebukuro, Tokyo.
The group was formed on December 24 last year, with eight characters designed by eight famous character designers and 11 seiyuus chosen out of a total of 10,325 candidates from all over the country. At the first live event that was held on July 22, in a surprise reveal, the group announced their CD debut and an anime adaptation, and unveiled their three mystery members, whose appearances had remained unknown up to that point.
During the mini live on September 21, in addition to the eight-member songs “Boku wa Sonzai Shiteinakatta” and “Chikatetsu Teikou Shugi,” the group also performed the 11-member song, “Jyuuichi Nin Ga Atsumatta Riyuu,” for the very first time. All three songs were sung enthusiastically, and the members’ expressions were overflowing with feeling as they performed. Speaking on behalf of the group, Amaki Sally expressed their happiness and displayed the group’s casual charm with a quip on the group’s name. “We can’t wait to perform again. This is the first time we’ve had all 11 of us performing together, so we’re really happy about that. This is such an incredible feeling. If I had to rate our performance, I’d give it 227 marks!”
When asked how she felt about their CD debut, Miyase Reina enthusiastically replied, “It’s not a finish line, this is just the beginning for us. We’ll work hard every step of the way.” Responding to a comment about the year-end Red and White Singing Contest, the members said, “We’d love to someday. We’ll work hard until we can get there.” There was strength in their words when they spoke about their goals from here on. “We hope that one day, we will receive love from both idol fans and seiyuu fans.”

There once lived a mouse named Tse in the attic of an old house. One day, Tse heard from a weasel that some konpeito had fallen from the shelf to the ground. Overjoyed, Tse headed over to the fallen konpeito, only to find that a great army of ants had already beaten her to it. The ants swarmed around the konpeito, all ready to transport it back to their home. Angered, Tse scampered back to the weasel and cried, “How could you be so unkind as to deceive a weak little creature like me! Make up for what you did, give me some of that konpeito you got!” Because Tse held this kind of attitude toward everything, she was disliked by the other mice and even all of the other animals. In the end, the weasel succeeded in escaping from Tse and carried all of the konpeito it had collected back to its nest.
Now that she had been shunned by all of the animals, Tse decided to befriend the tools, like the pole and the dustpan and the rubbish bin. But still she did not change her ways. When she fell off the pole, she would demand, “Make it up to me!” When she got indigestion from eating a monaka that the dustpan had given to her, she would demand, “Make it up to me!” When her whiskers fell off after she washed her face with the washing soda that the rubbish bin had given her, she would demand, “Make it up to me!” And so, the tools also refused to be friends with Tse.
With no one else left, Tse started hanging out with the mousetrap. Indeed, the mousetrap and the housemice should have been enemies. After all, the mousetrap was a helpful tool for the humans. But due to the mousetrap’s poor treatment at the hands of his master, he did not not see himself as an ally of the humans, and so in an act of good will he had offered the food in his trap to the housemice as a token of friendship. But the mice were afraid, and so none dared to come close to the mousetrap. Tse and the mousetrap shared the same loneliness of rejection, and so the two ended up getting closer.
At the start, Tse treated the mousetrap with respect, gratefully eating the morsels that she received from him, but over time, her self-conceit festered and she became ruder and ruder. Meanwhile, every night, while the human was replenishing the food in the mousetrap, he would berate the mousetrap, “Why can’t you ever catch anything? You taking bribes from the mice, huh?”
On a day like that, Tse came to visit the mousetrap for food, just like usual. However, this time, the fishcake in the trap had already spoiled. While Tse was going on her usual tirade, demanding, “Make it up to me!”, the angry mousetrap activated its mechanism and clamped its trap shut, trapping Tse. Tse began to scream, over and over, “Mr. Mousetrap, you’re terrible, terrible, ugh, you’re so annoying, you’re overreacting,” but she had already lost the energy to demand, “Make it up to me!” Eventually, she grew exhausted. The next morning, a human (a manservant of the house) saw the mousetrap and happily exclaimed, “Finally! That took ages! This one seems like an awful, stubborn mouse. Let’s get you out of here, you little brat.”
