that I even drew a silly comic about this cute chubby guy! Anyway, the comic is about how Dottore and Yuri would react to their fairy-tale version!

I got a bit embarrassed though cause my professor was giving a visitor a tour and he asked if I could show him what I was drawing, I was like “Pirates! Yeah! 🥹”💀

Candle Cove OC — Anne

She’s a longtime Candle Cove OC of mine since childhood, so she holds a special place in my heart 😌🖤 I honestly never thought I’d get to post her or even think to draw her again after quite a few years, but I could just never abandon her. She’s also a poc, gotta have some representation with my characters. 🙏🏽🖤✨

I’ve never really settled on a backstory for her but It’s a work in progress, the one I have thought out currently is that she was a villager living peacefully with her mother and father since childhood. Her mother worked as a tailor and her father was a sailor; he’d come back and tell Anne stories about his voyages which inspired her to want to become a sailor as well one day in hopes of leaving the island/village for adventure. Suddenly one day, he never returned and her village was ransacked by pirates which forced her and her mother to flee. Ever since then, she had a grudge against pirates, that was until she met the Laughingstock crew, a few years later ofc.

I would go into more detail, but it’s all apart of a fanfic I’m writing and I don’t wanna spoil it all but I will say, her life gets so much better.

The idea for Anne was that she was a repurposed doll owned by one of the people working on the show, similar to Sariah, only difference was, one side of her face was starting to deteriorate due to age, but they saw potential in her and decided to use the doll anyways. Thus, why one side of her face is covered, I swear it’s not just a lazy or edgy design choice. 😔🙏🏽

i think this design will be the final one! the other design was okay, but i found it a little boring...

anyway, i'm having a lot of fun drawing stuff about the two of them, and thinking about the lore is also interesting... i still don't know if skin taker/jaw bones would have mutual feelings for her or if he would just like the attention she gives him 😅no matter what i choose, he still finds her unbearable.

1 year of papyrene is today! how incredible, isn't it? ^_^

it's very interesting to see how much things have changed since then, not only in my drawings but also in the dynamics of the ship and in the design of serene and papyrus.

getting back to the subject, i am 100% grateful that i found papyrus again after all these years. he helped me with difficult problems in my life that i couldn't have dealt with on my own... he is truly my greatest comfort, one of my longest-lasting yumes.

ever since i discovered undertale, papyrus has always been my favorite. every time i went back to liking undertale, he became my favorite again and again. then in january of 2025, i discovered that it was really meant to be him who would be reserved in my heart! :^)

sorry if this was a rather reasonable text, i'm not good at writing my feelings, but he means a lot to me T.T
