I had an early start today. In fact it was barely today. Left the 100°F hell that was DC (don't get me wrong, DC's beautiful and chill and it was awesome just wandering about, but damn was it hot) and after a lot of hours on a plane I arrived to Seattle. After less then two hours here I was kinda in love. And if anybody wants to tell me I should've gone to Hawaii to enjoy the summer, well, you're forgetting I'm the kind of person who went swimming in the Baltic sea in Finland while my mom was shivering in her rain coat. A year ago today was the first day after two and a half years that I didn't take my meds. And although it still was a bit of a struggle for a while after that I feel like it's a personal victory I should acknowledge and celebrate. Words can't describe the gratitude I feel towards those who actually made me get help and the very few people that stuck with me through all those endless years of me being a sobby self destructive piece of shit. I remember next to nothing from my childhood and I was in a very bad shape by 16 - it took me two years to do something with it and another three years of therapy to get out of it. I feel like my life's just started.
