Bored. Bored bored bored Bored.

A terrible state for him to be in, in other words. Not that things weren't going to get interesting - very soon too, with any luck - but that didn't help him now. His dear Saber was AWOL, or so it seemed, and none of the other Masters had been kind enough to reveal themselves to him of their own free will.

But it meant his lone source of entertainment would have to be to wander the city, hoping to come across one of the other combatants in this oh-so-slow war. Master or Servant, it didn't matter; that damn edict from the church to - what was it? - play nice meant all he could do was talk. Talk, listen, and try to get some kind of advantage or leverage so that he'd have a much easier time when this thing actually kicked off. But maybe that was enough.

An oddity of this war, surely; either the Master was very good at hiding indeed, or he'd come across a Servant that for whatever reason lacked one. Now that was a curiosity; and not really a threat for the moment. But definitely something of interest.

"Now, what do we have here?"

"Or, if you'd rather I was precise, which one are you? I mean, I'd just love to ask your name, but I guess you wouldn't tell me anyway, huh?"

"This should just about do it." Indeed, his preparations for this did seem to be complete well ahead of any others; it made sense, after all. Making the first move was such a significant advantage - if not entirely risk free - that he simply had to do so. "Let me see... How did it go again?"

Really, it was far too simple for him to remember; almost an ironic joke, considering the source of his knowledge. While he was certain there was something against killing too many bystanders, that said nothing of taking their memories. Who would have thought the failures of the Magus guild to actually be useful to him?

"Fill, fill, fill, fill, fill. Repeat five times, and then shatter once filled. A base of silver and steel. A foundation of stone, and the Archduke of Contracts, and my ancestor, my great master, Schweinorg. A wall to block the falling wind, the gates of all four directions close. From the Crown, come forth, and follow the forked road to the kingdom." How odd, that this ritual was so... simple. It didn't even require a catalyst, or undue effort; the Grail was said to do most of the actual summoning.

"I hereby propose: my will shall create thy body, and thy sword shall create my fate. Abiding by the summons of the Holy Grail, if thou dost accede to this will and reason, answer me. I hereby swear, I will be all that is good in the eternal world. I will be the disposer of evil in the eternal world". Oh, but that was too funny a sentiment; even if revealing the truth was good, wasn't that truth likely to destroy so many? Ah, but there was no point diverting from the ritual. Even if at this point it was possible - a Berserker could be forced to appear - it wasn't worth it; not when he required intelligence from his servant, rather than nothing but a rabid dog.

"Thou, clad with the Great Trinity, come forth from the circle of constraint. Guardian of the Heavenly Scales!" A triumphant grin would cross the serpent's face, staring at the being he'd summoned. No idea who it was, but that was half the fun, wasn't it? Any catalyst he could have obtained could reveal his servants' strengths to anyone who knew of the item, and that just wouldn't do at all.

"Well, that's interesting. I'm almost surprised that it worked so well, actually." Not really; it was hardly a surprise one of his spells would work, especially in this circumstance. "Now where are my manners? This is where we're meant to introduce ourselves, aren't we?"

Character Name: Hazama / Yuuki Terumi

Series: Blazblue

Personality: Hazama maintains a calm and quiet demeanor around most people, pretending to be harmless as a member of the Intelligence Department. He claims to hate fighting and prefers to avoid conflict. This, however, is simply a guise to his true nature. When people see through it, he shows his true colors as selfish and manipulative; destroying other people’s lives and twisting their beliefs for his own gain. He has no qualms with killing those who get in his way, and doesn’t seem to show any kind of remorse for his actions.

When he reveals his true self as Yuuki Terumi, he becomes quite sadistic and insane in nature, relishing in others’ misery and suffering. Terumi takes every opportunity to upset others by mocking them, deliberately provoking them, or even bringing up and prodding at a sensitive topic; all for his own enjoyment. However, he also harbors a cold and ruthless side when someone upsets or irritates him, in which case he starts torturing them excessively.

His main reason to desire the grail is to prolong his life - to become immortal through causing others pain and misery and using their hatred of him to bind himself to the world through his magic; he wants the grail for nothing more than to cause enough pain and suffering to sustain his own existence and pleasure.

Powers/Abilities:

Hazama is an incredibly fast and strong combatant, easily able to keep pace with the rest of the cast without actually trying in most of his appearances; combining lightning-fast knife, hand and foot attacks with uncanny flexibility in combat. He's also noted as one of the most capable magi in the game, being responsible for the creation of both the Black Beast and the Azure Grimoire

Azure Grimoire: This is Hazama's main source of power, and allows him to utilise a green-black energy to form projectiles and blasts in battle; it has a side-effect of draining the life from those struck. Notably, the one he uses in combat is a false grimoire, the real one presumably being used to reinforce his body for combat.

Nox Nyctores - Geminus Anguium: Ouroboros: An incredibly powerful weapon in the shape of a pair of chains with snake heads at either end, Terumi can use the weapons to move across the battlefield with disturbing ease. The chains themselves have a rather painful bite as well, and are often used in conjunction with the Azure Grimoire. However, they also have the vindictive ability to tamper with the memories of his victim, allowing him to devour and alter memories of those who are bitten by his chains.

Weapons: Hazama's main weapons are the Nox Nyctores - Geminus Anguium: Ouroboros - and a pair of butterfly knives
