“Disappointed?" The word was spoken in a sort of sing-song tone, the hollows chin being raised as his brows rose. That was the thing with just a mere trip, it would only be a short while, he had no intention of lingering unless there was something here worth while. There was so much one could do with new found freedom, he had plenty of time to waste where ever he pleased.
“I’m sure that’s for me to say in the end, isn’t it? It’s natural for one to grow bored of their own surroundin’s, but it’s different for new comers.”
Just by the tone of the mans voice it was clear he had already found someone of interesting. Whether it was the way he held himself, how he spoke or just the air around him that drew the demon in— he couldn’t tell, but this individual in particular was worth looking into.
The hollows lips stretched into a grin, inverted eyes narrowed as he eyed the other closely. Each little movement falling under his gaze, the slightest tension of his muscles being sense through the slight stillness in the air. It was like that with a predator and it’s prey, they’d have to study the prey’s movements carefully and strike when least expected.
“For a place so borin’ it certainly provides an interestin’ welcome from someone like yerself.”
Skeletal fingers twitched in anticipation, slowly beginning to curl into loose fists, the demons claws pressed lightly against his palm.
"Yeah, Disappointed would be the thing." He was more than a little disappointed that this guy didn't seem to get it; when had he ever said it was boring? Even if Hazama was the kind to seem perpetually bored, unless something was completely out of the ordinary, it didn't exactly mean he was. Especially not when something as strange as this man showed up.
"You don't really get it. I never said it was boring, did I? There just isn't a reason for you to figure out why. Or to even be here, actually. Like I said, you'll be disappointed, especially if you're just standing there"
Looking up for a brief moment, his grin would only widen - oh, how he recognized that look. This man actually thought he could harm him, could kill him. It was almost enough to make him laugh; even if he didn't know what this oh-so-predatory figure could do, it wasn't going to make a difference.
He'd begin to laugh softly, smirking at the strange being. It was absolutely impossible for him to not laugh at such a stupid idea; this thing actually thought he could intimidate him, or worse. "Interesting welcome? Is that why you're going to do something as stupid as that look in your eyes is telling me?"
"Come on. You've got to say it, now. Interesting... that's not what you mean at all. Say it a͞l̛read̀y̢!"
Still the best Blazen comic.

This man seemed to be dressed rather formally, didn't he? Almost too formally, really - not that Hazama could really say much about that, considering he wore a suit and tie pretty much all the time - but certainly enough to catch his eye.
It seemed a little strange to him, perhaps the only reason it had caught his attention. Formal wear in itself wasn't an odd sight at all, but with how uncertain - no, reserved was a better term - the man seemed to be, it certainly seemed strange for him to dress in that manner. After all, it wasn't exactly a way to avoid attention; if he was actually going to notice someone, it certainly wasn't because they were boring.
Especially for someone that otherwise would have appeared normal enough; it was simply that the other person seemed to be different, even in the way he stood. Not the casual demeanor of most men his age, nor the attempts at maturity some would make - it wasn't even akin to those few that had actually matured enough to be considered adults in his eyes.
"What's the occasion, mister?" For once his question was sincere enough; he was actually curious about this man. "It's pretty rare to see anyone walking around while looking so neat." Except for himself, obviously.
Yuki Terumi, the true form of Hazama, is playable for the first time inBlazBlue: Chronophantasma. He can use his Force Eater drive skill to siphon Heat Gauge meter from other players. This will give Yuki a chance to do one of his four Distortion Drives. Yuki’s overdrive Nightmare Reaperenhances the effect of his drive attack and the power of his Distortion Drives.
BlazBlue: Chronophantasma continues the game’s plot with a focus on theSix Heroes. Yuki Terumi was once part of this group along with Valkenhayn,Trinity, and Nine. Celica, Nine’s younger sister that specializes in healing magic, shows up in the BlazBlue games for the first time. Celica is the main character in BlazBlue: Phase 0 and Chronophantasma will cover some of the novel like when Celica meets Ranga the Bloodedge. BlazBlue: Chronophantasma will link the novels and game story together throughCelica who is searching for Ragna in Ikaruga in Chronophantasma.
BlazBlue: Chronophantasma will be available in Japan on October 24 and is slated for release in North America early next year. -[x] —-

Oho. Now that was an unfortunate appearance - for a moment, Hazama had considered the possibility that another red-coated man had simply changed his hair. A ridiculous idea, really, enough to make him laugh; perhaps that would catch the attention of the other. Oops.
Not that the green-haired man would mind, idly shaking his head as he looked back towards the other. A hand would be extended towards the stranger as he smiled apologetically - well, it would hopefully look sincere - his voice almost nervous as he spoke
Really, though, nothing could be further from how he felt; but it was far more fun to drag things out, to seem almost comical. Especially with how boring things seemed to keep being for him.
But enough of those thoughts for now. "Ah, I'm sorry. You just really looked like this guy I know, and he's just hilarious." Annoying, but always worth a laugh. "I really wasn't meaning to laugh at you, mister." A pity that he couldn't really sound sincere; nervous, or silly, but it definitely didn't sound anything like an apology.

Someone normal, for once. Or, to be more to the point; someone who didn't look inhuman in some way - wasn't that close enough to normal, though?
At least, it was enough for him to consider the other person to be normal; a disappointing thing, to some extent. Really, unless this guy was more interesting than Hazama expected, this just wouldn't be enjoyable.
Not that he'd show any of his thoughts; a polite smile remaining fixed on his face as he waved, almost as if he was trying to get the other man's attention. Maybe he'd figure out whether there was something more to this man than he was expecting; something that was eminently possible.
"Hey, you wouldn't mind telling me whereabouts we are? Strange to say, but I really don't have a clue how I got here."

Okay, maybe things were starting to get a little suspicious. What were the chances of Hazama encountering three people in a row who seemed so very different, purely on account of their eyes? Somewhere, someone had to be laughing at him, if that was seriously going to be the first thing he would notice.
Ah well. A slight look of concern would cross his face - an act, of course - his tone almost sympathetic. He couldn't really manage that tone properly in any case. "I'm not intending to be rude..." It was true; he didn't really care what the other person thought of what he said "... but you really need to get those contacts removed. That really can't be healthy."

Oho. How strange it was to see yet another person with inhuman eyes; that was what Hazama would notice first. Any difference from a normal, boring human was a good thing in his mind, and it was precisely what he would look for. Not a common find for him, but he couldn't help but look.
How lucky was he? Two abnormal people that, at first glance, weren't going to be a pain for him. Unless those ever-so-annoying heroes had been recruiting, there was no reason to wonder whether this was going to be a real inconvenience for him; then again, it would have almost been welcome at this point. Still, any distraction would do, even if it was in the form of someone he had no knowledge of.
He wouldn't show any of those thoughts, though, a slight nod of his head in her direction the first acknowledgement he'd give to her - well, it looked like a her, anyway. Actually, how should he address her? The simple fact was that even if her eyes weren't exactly normal, it'd say far too much about him if he made it clear he'd noticed so quickly.
"You look a little lost there, lady. You really should be cautious, there's an awful lot of unsavory types around here." She just happened to be in the presence of one of the worst.

It was rather amusing, actually, to be approached by a person who held such a similar air around them to that of a captain his host had interacted with but a few times before. The look in his eyes and the almost cheerful manner he seemed to hold while addressing him— it was all quite similar. Not that it mattered, because when it all came down to it this man was nothing but another insect under his foot.
The golden irises of the hollow flickered with a hint of interest as he glanced the other over quickly, a faint smirk tugging at the entities pale lips.
“Anythin’ I need?” The beings voice was spoken in a cool tone, a faint echo being carried out with each word. “Besides the usual desire for entertainment, knowledge of my surroundin’s is all I currently require.”
With a few hidden details regarding his freedom, he finally had his chance to be his own separate being, able to wander about as he pleased. New areas could be explored, no longer being bound to the simple town of Karakura, no more of the cluttered Soul Society, or the baron waste land of Hueco Mundo.
No. This time he could choose where he went and what he did, and he refused to let opportunities like this pass him by. It was like a whole new start with new challenges and stronger opponents, or so he hoped.
“I’m on a road trip, so to speak. Sights to see, people to meet.” Destruction to cause, lives to be taken. “Shall I consider myself lucky to have run into someone so…” What shall he say— “.. humble?”
Had Hazama known what he was speaking to, he would have found it highly amusing; both spirits of an evil nature, given their own bodies by some design. Although in his case it had most certainly been his own - not even a thought spared for the poor man known as Kazuma. What he could tell was that the other man clearly thought he was better than him. How very irritating; sure, there was no way for him to realize he was speaking to one of the strongest beings in existence at the moment, but a little humility did go such a long way.
His voice was... rather fitting for his appearance, or so Hazama felt, even if he'd quickly find the slight echo to be irritating. Still, at least what he was saying would only confirm the faint interest he'd found in the other.
"Usual desire for entertainment, huh? That's a pretty vague desire." Even if his words were those of someone who was ignorant, his tone would carry a note of amusement; There were many forms of entertainment, but only a couple of them interested the Captain. Was this guy similar to him in that respect?
He'd surely find out sooner or later, if he had his way. Something he was completely used to; if everything his so-called enemies had done had played into his hands, who was to say the actions of this person wouldn't as well? Hell, even if they were in opposition to his goals, Hazama wouldn't care; anything to shake up the tedium of the current situation was more than welcome.
"Oh, you sure could." Or really unlucky, to have run into him. "But if you're here on a road trip, you'll be disappointed." Because, really, once he'd been in this place for so long... it had ended up so utterly boring in so many ways that he could scarcely think of a reason for anyone to be here of their own free will.
"There's nothing really relevant about this place." Interesting, yes. Useful, probably. But definitely not relevant to this stranger. "But if entertainment is what you're looking for, well, I'm sure I can oblige."
+purestinstinct
Well that wasn't what Hazama had expected. Not at all.
Since when did people come in monochrome? After all, the being before him was unmistakeably humanoid - although the slight claws, and the creepy eyes meant he was probably anything but. Hell, that was probably the kind of appearance people would get from a description of his own personality; vaguely reptilian, and utterly creepy.
How very curious. Leaning slightly forward, towards the strange being, the faintest hint of yellow could be seen from beneath his hat; he was actually what passed for interested enough to look at someone without them speaking, for once. Or maybe he was just bored; with everything going to plan, and seeing as there wasn't really a way they could be stopped just yet, all he'd had left to do was keep up the facade.
No, it was probably that he was interested; a feeling almost foreign to him. Straightening to his full height, his hands would slowly come together - a clap, if the motion had been faster. A sweeping gesture would follow; it only made sense to keep up his oh-so-harmless persona for the moment, especially when dealing with something he didn't know about already. Sure, he could act how he always wanted to, but then he'd be bored again all too soon. This was better.
"You need anything, whitey?" That was certainly not the most appropriate way to address anyone. "I can't say we see a lot of things like you 'round here."
ROBOTS OR DINOSAURS?
"Robots." Much more fun for him than dinosaurs; little Carl and his sister he could actually play with. "But not ones as useless as you. What a pity."
