Before anyone asks if I’m glad to be back home, I’m not. I had a great time on the road, and having to decorate for Valentine’s Day is probably some kind of punishment for leaving on such short notice. After watching the Bill Murray classic Ground Hog Day I think I can safely say I would be willing to experience that kind of situation if it meant I could miss out on other days in February. Especially this year.

While I’m not one for February, as a general rule, I can’t imagine getting stuck in a single day loop indefinitely would really be the way to go.

While I understand how exciting the New Year can be, it gives you that push to step out of your shell and that is a beautiful thing. But I really wish people would be more careful, it has been almost non stop at the hospital. Is it truly worth the risk just to try something new? I am actually curious.

It really would have been a bad time, had I lost it, honestly. Like, I’m used to misplacing it, but there was just something odd about how I’d managed to misplace it this time that drove me a little nuts.

Speaking from experience, it actually takes quite a bit to go deaf. A sound even the human child is not capable of making.

I don’t understand why people feel the need to overshare when they speak to receptionists. If you’re an hour late, you don’t get to just walk in an that’s the rule– I literally don’t care that you’re late because your dog got out almost got hit by a car, Stephanie. Keep it in a kennel when you leave and be on time. It’s not my problem.

As much as I’m one for being on time and acknowledge that the common courtesy is to at least inform people you might be late, there are a series of events most people with any sort of care for their fellow human, can typically understand. You seem to lack that.

I’ve been back in Lima for almost a month now and I can say I did not miss this place. The majority of people are still idiots, the food is ridiculously greasy as hell, and I still feel like I’m living in the dark ages sometimes with people’s opinions on today’s issues.

On the plus side working at Luxe has been badass, it’s really cool the community theatre is doing RENT, low key mad I wasn’t here to audition but it is what it is, and I am back together with my family which is relatively dope. But why don’t ya’ll tell me everything I’ve missed these past couple of years?

Yeah, can’t say I have any idea what’s been going on, pretty sure very little of it was of importance, and if it was, someone who has been around longer probably has a better hold on it. I’d say welcome back, but I continuously wonder if being back in this town is ever a good idea.
