After months of thinking about them, and trying to figure out their names and what they look like, let me introduce the 159th, A.K.A. Talon Assault Squad. They’re Maul’s clone squad during the Clone Wars, they are an elite shock squad, so it’s literally only them, because they lead small scale assault operations in support of other battalions. I love them all, and I’m gonna draw their armour as well because I have an idea hehe
But anyway, meet the boys:
-Clone Commander Chronos; he’s serious and stern. A no-nonsense type, who works very well with Maul
-clone trooper Bobcat; snappy and sarcastic, he cares a lot about his brothers, but doesn’t mind playing stupid tricks on them
-Clone trooper medic Kit; the medic of the squad. He’s kind of broody and doesn’t talk much, and even tho he’s the medic, he has no bedside manners whatsoever. He’s constantly begging Maul (without any success) of putting at least a shirt on to protect his chest
-Clone trooper Beehive; rash and impulsive, he prefers explosives and loud bangs. He’s the demolishing force of the squad, and also the one most in medic. We don’t talk about how he got his name, or his scars
-Clone trooper Cleft; the best humor, the warmest smile, and the most cutting insults in the squad, he and Beehive became inseparable after a training explosive blew in his face and gave him the scar he took his name from (Beehive may or may not have been the one to place the explosive)
-Clone trooper Bluebell; too sweet for this world, too pure. He loves the color blue (he’s very sad his squad colors are red and black) and enjoys the sight and smell of flowers. Baby of the squad, if you mess with him, his brothers will mess with you
