mod name: call me Terry! Short for Terry Bell! (Sounds like terrible haha)

updated part: there is a blog called goodforsakentakes, and one called badforsakentakes. This blog is not like those. I am helping people who want to vent but have no place to, or want to do it anonymously!

Also stated later: but anon names welcome! As long as you don’t expose your main, if you’re comfy with a name, tell me so I can add it to a list!

1: this is a safe space to make fun of horrible headcanons.

If someone thinks something that goes against canon, is disgusting to think about, problematic, or doesn't agree with your headcanons, VENT ABOUT IT HERE!

This is NOT meant for hate towards people, just so that frustrated people have a safe space to vent about their opinions, get it out of their system, and if I find it interesting and it passes the rest of the rules, ILL POST IT! :D

2: no images, username drops, or hints as to who posted it.

POST TEXT ONLY AND USE QUOTES, dont take a screenshot to use as i ONLY accept anonymous asks. (Using an anon name is allowed so I know if u do repeated submissions! You don’t have to.) Along with this DONT SHARE WHO YOU THINK ITS ABOUT IN COMMENTS OR WHO YOU THINK WROTE THE ASK, or it will be deleted. This isn't a place for hate on people, just to discuss different opinions.

3: "(blank) character is (blank) gender!" will not be tolerated. They have CANON identities they identify with, and I don't feel comfortable with how people are trying to give different identities to them, ESPECIALLY THE KIDS.

4: TRANS HEADCANONS (for 18+ characters) ARE FINE! Though i'd like it if you kept calling them by their canon preferred pronouns, you can say "i think two time is afab" and they can still be nonbinary! SO ITS FINE!

What's different is saying "I think noob is transfem" because noob is genderfluid and NOT female/male. RESPECT THE CANON AS IF THEY WERE REAL PEOPLE (because SOME of them are!)

5: Hate on me: hating on me will not be tolerated. CRITISISM IS WELCOME! but only constructive. Don't be mean just because I don't like your headcanon.

6: don't diss ships unless they dont make sense/are problematic. If its just "OH BUT I SHIP (blank) SO THATS A BAD TAKE!" thats not true. BUT for example if you're saying you don't like Ichance because of how exagerated and abusive the relationship is, and you think it ruins itrapped's character (can you hear my own opinions ringing out?) thats a valid take. EVEN IF I DONT AGREE WITH YOUR TAKE, you can diss ships I like too! (go ahead, diss my burgershed, i wont be mad.)

7: I am just a human being! Like in rule 5, i dont accept hate, but also know that i DONT ACCEPT NAGGING.

i hate. HATE. all of the fics of guest cheating on his wife. i'm talking about the ones explicitly stating he is cheating, not the ship fics that dont really bring daisy up at all. i'm. SO MAD. he WOULDNT?? even if he fell in love with someone else, i think he's too noble to cheat.

look, it's a different story with forsaken. if guest has accepted he probably wont ever get out, or that his wife has likely moved on after his death, etc etc, that's okay. it'd be really awkward and open an interesting topic to explore if he gets unforsakened (like, imagine your partner dies. you're grieving, but you finally move on and find someone else. but then they come back to life). i don't consider that cheating. if anything, it's healthy to be able to move on, and if i was in that position i would WANT my partner to move on and find someone else if they want to, even if i came back miraculously.

but i digress. i HATE THE FICS OF GUEST CHEATING FOR NO REASON. HE WOULDNT. HE FUCKING WOULDNT. OHHHHG MY GOD

i would never say this on those fics because that's rude and i know and follow the "dont like dont read" rule but i'm just upset that theres so many 😭 is this a popular take or something??? have any of those fic writers ever seen tlg??????????

its so terrible that people can’t seem to characterize the characters they like correctly 😭

even if there is the common courtesy of “don’t like don’t read” that doesn’t mean you arent allowed to dislike the idea of it! Completely justified especially since even fanfiction media can influence your perception of a character!

I literally had to stop once Nosferatu can out because I was so annoyed, and now I don’t understand him or guest 666 or Veronica so im just confused. Also just saying the little trivia things i keep seeing also piss me off. Wdym by chance being a poc? Which race/ethnicity? It just feels like they wanna look diverse like bro let the grey skinned character be grey skinned that’s not a poc???

I understand about Nosferatu it is really annoying that someone’s OC came before killers we were looking forwards to. But hey, Veeronica is pretty fun to play once you figure out how! But playing against a good one is horrifying-

I don’t understand what you mean about chance though. Is it just them being a poc that’s annoying? Or the fact that they didn’t specify? I do think letting Chance’s ethnisity not be specified is good because then people can draw chance either with grey skin or however they imagine them!

there’s not much else I can say, except that there is hate being sent to them from proshippers like good forsaken takes, which is ironic considering they’re claiming that hate is being sent to them. I know that bad forsaken takes has said multiple times the they don’t want hate sent to these people, and it sucks they are being harassed.

So if it matters to anyone, I am on badforsakentakes side until proved otherwise

well, I don’t want to try and pinpoint the exact age any given character could realize they’re trans! It could be 13, 15, 20, but I don’t know where the line is exactly and since I “matured young” I personally don’t know when people become self aware and self conscious (as in realizing they have choice) enough to make the choice of: “hey! I don’t feel like a (birth gender or sexuality)” so it’s safer to just say to have headcanons for the over 18 characters.

personal story with names changed. I had a friend named James in middle school, and he has a trans older sister who goes by Margret. He thought he was also a trans woman when he was in sixth grade and started going by Jenny, but later realized that he was still a guy, and identified as a guy, but was chill with they/them pronouns being used too. People are influenced by who they care about, the same reason kids like certain sports teams. Once they reach a certain age, they start choosing their own “sports teams” to enjoy. They can explore different sports or players, but it because their own.

Does that make sense?

find it annoying that it’s not okay to misgender or gengerswap non-binary or genderfloid characters but it’s ok to genderswap other characters. Like… what if they don’t want their identity changed either? Bro. It gows both ways.

I think it’s not okay because non-binary characters have no gender to swap in the first place. And genderfluid characters dont need to be swapped since they are sometimes male and sometimes female? I think? Im still learning about gender and stuff.

but I think it’s ok to swap characters with a set gender because they have a gender that is A) set in stone and B) exists

also REMEMBER THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AND AU AND A HEADCANON. An au where a character is fem is different than a headcanon that they are fem or use female pronouns.

no! No matter what people choose to write, if they’re talented, that talent will shine through, just like their understanding of characters will. ^_^ that’s the beauty of being creative, you can do whatever you want! I do wish people would do more research though.

yeah. It sucks that they do have to choose between letting Soul profit, or letting Soul sell Forsaken to a big cash grab company that would get Soul more money anyways. It’s a bad situation and I don’t know if there even is a good option. It’s one reason why it’s hard to like the game right now.

This is a tricky one, I know it’s annoying but we also have to remember the difference between a head canon and an au. If in someone’s **AU** azure doesnt forgive them, that’s different than If they headcanon it. Make sure to see if the person just has an au to explore a “what if”

two times religious psychosis and cult stuff isn't well written in the fandom and sometimes a little overboard in official lore, it genuinely makes me sad and disappointed as hell because I was in a state of religious psychosis and it would be nice to see the game and fandom explore it better and more seriously, but it's always the silly little "oOOoOoOh TwOTiMe CaNt Be NeAr KnIfEs So EdGy!!!!" Why are we not taking this seriously :( bcz it is really frustrating to see people make it funny or a reason to demonize two time when actually thinking god is telling you the world is ending and you're going to die and burn in hell isn't funny nor cute at all. also, the demonization of two time also pisses me off, as much as they are guilty for killing azure they are still a victim of the cult, and I think many ppl in the fandom don't get the gravity of being a cult survivor, even more to two time whose cult seemed to encourage suicide and self harm and definitely killing others as seen in the current lore, in my opinion two time is way too messy and people need to treat their lore more respectfully (and yes, I believe the spawn cult irl was a consequence of people not taking the whole cult thing seriously) in general: the forsaken fandom is way too unserious and cares more about shipping than actual important lore that isn't even good if I'm honest and it pisses me the fuck off :(

THIS! They need to show more care for their characters lore, and the actual implications of it. Especially since it’s SUPER traumatic to be in or go through a cult, and it’s worse for Two Time since the spectre gave them a second life to CONFIRM THEIR BAD BELIEF so now they’re not only feeling horrible about killing Azure and all the cult stuff, but they think it’s real (since their faith was confirmed) so now it’ll be even harder for them to find peace in either area.

also, I feel like the game itself focuses more on ships then on the events that lead to them, people dont focus on noob and 666 fight, just that its a ship, they don’t care about the idea of a deep struggle of mental health and loving someone who is in too deep to be able to choose you, they just want azuretime. People ship without considering the lore and it ends up making the ship seem very out of character a lot of the time. Hope this made sense!
