Sunny day at Cragside
Today was a good day. I was walking along doing a bit of shopping and in the town near where I live there's this man who sells big issues outside of the m and s. Well my mum always buys one from him and today he was out there in the cold dressed in a santa suit so I thought I'd buy one. Well he was so greatfull he gave me a hug and wished me happy Christmas. It really made my day to see his happy face.
“The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache.”
— Marjorie Pay Hinckley
Laughter is the best medicine
My dream house always has a library like this in it
Body Positivity
For my latest project at college I'm looking at body positivity and I love it because it is so important. There is so much wonderful art out there trying to promote this wonderful message. Because everybody is beautiful, no matter their gender, shape or size. Society doesn't matter, what you think is what matters and what you need to know is you are beautiful. I found it hard to think that I was beautiful but now I look in the mirror and love the way I look and wouldn't change myself because I know I'm perfect and so is everyone else.
I love a long walk to clear my head
“There are few people whom I really love, and still fewer of whom I think well. The more I see of the world, the more am I dissatisfied with it; and every day confirms my belief of the inconsistency of all human characters, and of the little dependence that can be placed on the appearance of merit or sense.”
― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
“The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid.”
— Jane Austen
One of the best feelings
I can't help it, when I walk into a bookshop I get really excited and run to my favourite authors. And randomly sniff books hoping no one sees you apart from your friends who are use to this by now and just stare at you like you're insane.
Reading in bed is one of best activities
First post
I thought maybe I should write something very important or meaningful but I think what's best is to tell you why I have a long title thing and what it all means.
To start off with I've put witch. And this is something that has only come recently to me. I've always been confused by religion and never felt there was one for me. But then I looked into witches (because I've always loved them and the hex girls some scooby doo) Anyway it all sort of clicked for me. Being one with nature feeling the energy. It all made sense and it's become very important to me.
Secondly, writer. This one I'm sure many people can relate to. Having a story in your head and writing it down. I've always had a none stop imagination and I felt I could never express it because of my dyslexia. But about three, four years ago I start to write them down and I've really enjoyed it. It's just grown and grown till now I have tones of stories saved to my laptop. (And a few note books hidden away)
Then there's bookworm. Again reading has never come naturally like writing because of my dyslexia but I have found it has always been a big part of my life. My mum and sister both love reading and it's something I've been surrounded by. Now I read and read and my bookshelf has to keep being changed to fit more room. I'm addicted to the smell of books both old and new. It's one of my favourite things.
And finally my love of nature. I live in a little village and I have grown around unquestionable beauty all my life. I love trees and the way they change during the year, even when they're bare I love them. My photography is almost always landscape (when it's not of my sister). I enjoy any landscape and feel peaceful when I'm just sat there in my own thoughts.
So that's a brief summary of me really. Come stay and look at other things I post or save or like or whatever. Or you can go, up to you. But if you read all that then thank you. You're very kind and patient.
