I’ve been listening to Betty, Cardigan and August on repeat and I’m just more and more in love with this story the more I listen to these songs.

I just can’t get over how Taylor perfectly shows what each person was thinking in this love triangle. They’re all only 17 years old and she makes that clear, but love still feels so real at 17. Even with how dramatic it all is.

My heart just goes out to the girl in August. I can relate and feel every emotion she is feeling. She really likes James. So much to put up with the crap he puts her through because his heart is still with Betty. I know that feeling of living for the hope of it all. And any little bit of happiness with the guy you are newly dating makes you feel alive.

She knew that James was never hers fully... and it was just a summer fling but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t real and special and everything to her.

I could seriously just listen to these songs on repeat and sit here and visualize all 3 of them.

Taylor is a genius. 💗💗
