You're the one of the reasons he was taken, remember? You didn't watch him. Didn't keep him safe. Go back to your owl, Michael's in a safer place.
I said sod off. Our owl can take care of himself, and no hybrid is safe around that tosser Burns, so pack up your nonsense and get out of my face. I have a dog to rescue.
Better go and get him, Daniel. He's /itching/ to get out of there. Hurting himself just to fight that pain.
Wot do you think I'm bloody going to do? Sit down to have a tea party with the smug arse who took him in the first place to discuss the weather??? Eat a few scones??? Pup's coming home with me, blood spilled in the process or not.
How you going to find a dog that might be dead? Seems like you're out of options, lil' soldier.
Dead? Doubt for all the trouble Burns went to get him that the prick would off him. Besides, it's not hard to track down his traveling "show." *bares teeth* If you're just here to try and deter me sod off.
*narrows eyes*
He won't like it, might hate me for it really, but he's strong. He'll be okay. On the other hand there's a dog who I need to go find. I already know where his show is, and the guards never were too competent. Having to confront Burns himself or no, I'm getting in there.
Nothing's felt the same since Pup was taken away. Ray's gotten quieter, his laugh sounds hollow most of the time and the bloke's started losing feathers and pulling them out from stressing over it. Makes me furious to know that bastard has a hold of him. Hope a sharp set of teeth gets ahold of Burns at some point and messes the tosser up some. Hold on Pup, you're coming home ASAP.

"He’s gone Dan. What’re we gonna do? I don’t even know where he is at all. He’s just gone and all I know is he’s got him and I can’t let this go. I promised I’d protect him…"
"We'll go get Pup back. If you think it'd be okay with your boss, we could leave sooner rather than later. Not like his dreadful show is hard to track down, and between my nose, and your well, owlness, I'm sure we'll come up with a plan to kidnap the dog right back to where he belongs.
He's gone Dan! They took him. HE took him. Oh God.
( arrives forever late with no starbucks )They, him, you don't mean- *bristles up, a growl caught in the back of his throat that's forced down* We'll get him back luv. Don't worry. We will hunt that prick down, come up with a plan, and get Michael back. I promised to not let any harm come to Pup and that bastard got to him. *looks down at ground with fists clenched, teeth grinding together* If this wasn't personal before, it bloody well is now.
*angry growling at anon*
Your feathers are too ruffled to be chopping things, don’t need an accidental blood bath on our hands due to one puffed up bird. C’mere luv, and really please put down the knife. You look ready to shank a bloke.
Puffed up bird has a terrified husband who’s being hunted by the world’s biggest JACKASS. But yeah…you’re right. Honestly? I’d love to get my hands on Burns and shank him.
Who the fuck does he think he is Dan?
A bloke with too much power and quid. Which he is. Love to kick him of his high horse myself, put a well aimed bullet straight through his gob. But let's not resort to shanking ourselves, or those poor vegetables.
Hey Pup, c'mere for a minute would you? Have something to give you.
Glancing up at Dan, the dog carefully wandered over to the soldier, keeping his head low and tail even lower.
Gathering the dog into his arms the wolverine hybrid hugs the other man tightly. “Not sure if that’s working or not anymore, but maybe I’ll hang onto the phone for a bit yeah? Turn it off and out of sight so you won’t be tempted to check it.”
Dan lifts one arm up to gently run through Michael’s curls, trying to calm the panicking hybrid. “You’re not alone pup, the three of us can, and will protect each other. Its all right, you’re safe here.”
"….you don’t know that.." Breathing heavily even with fingers in amongst his curls, the panic wasn’t leaving his system with any reassurance. Pulling away from Dan, he just backed away with a distraught face, whining quietly. "He’s going to fund me… I’m not safe Dan.."
Stepping forward to get Michael into arms reach again large hands settle on his shoulders. “Pup, Pup look at me okay? We will take care of each other. I’d never let them near enough to cage you up again. Got it?” The bubbling anger that was searing through Dan’s veins starts to subside as he takes a few deep breaths. Then he continues speaking. “And if it comes to it, that they discover where we are…”
The soldier looks behind himself for a moment into the room where he knows their other mate is before turning back with a determined look in his eyes. The volume of his voice drops considerably, meant only for Michael’s ears. “If they do find out, not saying those dumb stupid idiot bastards will, but if. The two of us can always take a little trip out into the wilderness for a bit. You’re a hunter, I’m a soldier, we’d just need to hide for a bit. Sleep in shifts, keep on the move. Come back to the owl when it was safer.”
Slowly looking up to Dan with red and fearful eyes, his ear twitched to his words and suggestion. If. If he found them. If Burns found Michael? He’d be better dead in some circumstance. And the idea of leaving Ray? It almost burned as much as breathing, eyes looking to Dan once again with a slight betrayal. “W-We can’t leave him. He’s as vulnerable as us.. We can’t leave Ray behind…” Whispering hoarsely, Michael slumped into the soldier heavily, unable to keep himself up any longer; the weakness of panic taking its toll.
"He's papered though and employed at a company that protects their hybrid employees. We'd come back Pup, but if we had to, to keep Ray away from harm, I would keep those sick bastards as far away from him as possible." Sighing as he realizes that train of thought isn't helping the situation Dan drops the topic instead moving both hands to rub behind Michael's ears.
"That's just an if, for now let's focus on calming down. Deep breaths Pup deep breaths. In... And out. You're surrounded by all familiar and safe scents here, this is your space. You're safe, you're loved, you're home. Nowhere else, just here with people who care." Its hard to know if this is helping at all when Michael started in such a blind panic. Might have to enlist the help of a ton of blankets, a TV, controller, and one certain game about a bird and a bear.

Oi, anon, why don't you pick on someone else, like me. You'll never phase me so I'd love to see you bloody try.
Need to go on a patrol of the area to put myself at ease, can't stand sitting around feeling like someone's watching when no one's there.
