Chapter III

I cannot find the words to explain how much I am loving you today. Hindi naman nauubos ang salitang “today” diba? Kapag binasa mo ulit ‘to. Tandaan mo na hindi yun magbabago araw-araw.

I see you. I see the real you sa mga oras na nahihirapan tayo. We almost gave up, pero hindi pala kaya. Hay. Hindi ko nga ba alam kung bakit ganito. Naging sobrang tigas ko for almost 3 years and I never Imagine namararamdaman ko ulit ‘to. Hindi ko man masabi sa personal yung mga bagay na gusto ko sabihin gusto ko naman na malaman mo na I’m happiest when I’m being myself and I’m myself when I’m with you. And I think we are all just looking for that one person that we can be ourselves around, that one person who will love you and accept who you are, your silly awkward side and your serious side too. We are all just looking for that comfortable relationship, you know? You don’t care what you are doing because as long as that one special person is next to you then you are happy.

Maraming pa tayong pagdadaanan, hindi man maging sobrang smooth ng mga mangyayari tandaan mo na I will always be by your side no matter what. Magkasakitan man tayo katulad ng nakaraan, susubukan at susubukan ko pa rin na basagin yung natitira na pride na meron ako.There are so many things that you don’t know about me, but I’m hoping that you certainly know one thing, how much I love you.

Chapter II

Takot. Oo, takot.

Natatakot ako na baka isang araw mawala na lang lahat, lahat ng binuo namin - pagsasamahan, lungkot, tawanan, problema, mga hinanakit at pati sya.

“Diba ayaw mo sa taong takot? Bakit ganyan ka na ngayon?” sabi pa nya sakin nung halos umaatras na ko.

“Takot ang nagbubunsod sa isang tao para hind maging masaya” sabi ko pa sa kanya yun nung una. Dahil takot sya na baka masaktan nya daw ako.

Pero ano nga ba ang maidudulot ng takot sa atin kung sa una pa lang takot na tayong sumubok?

Sumubok tayo sa pagkakataon na ‘to. Pagkakataon kung san alam natin pareho na kung may bumagsak man, alam natin na may sasalo. Sasalo sa panahon kung kelan hulog na hulog na tayo sa isa’t isa.

Gusto ko pang ienjoy yung mga oras na magkasama kami. Mga oras na hindi pa ganon kalaki yung problema, na ang pinagtatalunan pa lang naming eh yung mga tao na pinagseselosan namin. Mga oras na kung saan nakakaligtaan lang na magreply o kaya naman maliliit na bagay na hindi namin nasusunod.

Sobrang saya ng mga araw na to.

Walang sweldo sa paghingi ng hand outs sa prof. Andon pa yung kailangan mo silang habulin at i-check yung e-mail mo maya't maya para lang makita kung nag-send na ba o hindi. At kung hindi, kailangan mo pa libutin ang campus at kasuluksulukan nito para lang maihabol yung pagrereview mo at ng pinakamamahal mong mga kaklase. Tapos halos mapaos ka pa kakasigaw para lang maitanong sa mga abala sa pag uwi mong mga mahal na kamag-aral kung may kopya na ba sila. Minsan pa nga halos lahat ng klase ng parinig o patama ibabato sayo. Okay lang. Pero bakit nga ba ako nasa posisyon na ganto eh pwede naman akong maging katulad nila at kung tutuusin pede naman na sarilinin ko na lang tutal pagod at oras ko naman ang inilaan ko dun? Para magpabida? Hindi. Sabi nga ni, Martin na isang politiko - dahil sa malasakit

CHAPTER I

“When was the last time you wrote about the person who meant the world to you?”

Three years ago.

No. Two years, maybe?

The last time I wrote about that person, I was too hurt. I am in pain, but still I wrote about him.

Today, I’m going to write an open letter again. To the man who meant the world to me.

We are starting to build something between us, something memorable.

Sya, sya yung tipong na sa unang tingin  ko pa lang. Hindi ko naman talaga tipo at siguro hindi rin naman ako yung tipo nyang tao. Sobrang magkaiba kami ng gusto. There are things na gusto nya na ayaw ko at ayaw ko na gusto nya to the point na kapag ayaw nya nasasabihan  ko sya ng maarte. Pero dahil gusto ko kahit ayaw nya, nag-aadjust sya. Minsan naaawa ako sa kanya sa pinaggagawa kong kamalditahan sa kanya just because I want to be happy. Not even knowing kung masaya ba din sya don. Basta masaya ako and we’re fine. So mean. But even then, I can see that certain feeling in his eyes. Sa ‘twing kailangan nya na magdesisyon kahit labag sa loob nya basta gusto ko, gagawin nya.  

I always tell him sa ‘twing napapatambay kami sa isang lugar, “wag kang dadaan dito, the same day, same time. Kasi maalala mo ‘to. Tapos maiiyak ka na lang.” Tapos parehas na lang kami matatawa. Nakakatawa no? We’re looking forward on the things na napagdaanan ko na sa nakaraan and as early as today pinapaalalahanan ko na sya. We shared stories, we laughed, we fight pero at the end of the day mas pinipili pa rin namin magkaayos.

I felt this certain fear inside of me - that fear that he might know everything about me and by that time, he will eventually leave me.

I’m clingy but i won’t admit it to you. There are times that i’ll stop myself from being so clingy because i am afraid that i might annoy you. When i say clingy, it means i want to talk to you always just to know how you doing to make me feel that you’re doing good, i’ll send you messages telling you to take care and don’t skip your meal because i can’t always be there to take care of you. Clingy in a way that i’ll show you how much you mean to me and how important you are.

I want to have someone i can call at 2 in the morning when i can’t sleep and who’s willing to walk with me outside where i can see city lights while everyone is peacefully sleeping. I want to have that person who will never stop on choosing me and never let go of my hand. I want to find that person where i can be myself but still sees me as the most amazing person. I want to have someone who can sing me to sleep, knows my favorite food and who can let me wear his shirt. I want to find that person who accepts everything about me, flaws, mistakes and the things i hated about me. And i think i already found that person and i am so blessed to have him.

I love you. And i’m not asking anything in return. That’s why don’t be surprise if one day, you’ll tell me you love me and i won’t believe you. It’s not because that’s impossible to happen, i’m just used to the feeling of giving something and not expecting in return. Maybe i’m just used to loving you and not being love back. I don’t remember what it feels like to receive and to be loved. I forgot how it feels. That’s why if you’ll tell me you love me, i don’t know how will i react.

I envy how much you loved her. I can feel that up until now, she still matters to you. That you’re still longing for her. I can clearly see that she still has a soft space in your heart. And that’s how i understand that no matter what i do, i don’t have a space in your heart. I can never replace her in your heart. I can never be her, i am just me. And it hurts to realize that you can never love me the way you loved her.
