Nelumbo nucifera {Zelos & Lucina} || Closed
Honestly, the only thing pushing Zelos to even move an inch off of his bed this morning was the promise of gorgeous flowers wearing gorgeous flowers. On the train ride over he could already tell the look of excitement most of the visitors had caked on their faces, not hesitating to flirt with some of the women on the train. Today was going to be spectacular, he felt it in his bones.
After arriving and becoming more familiar with the area and local women, Zelos even received a flower bracelet accessory from a rather cheerful boy, waving goodbye to spectate the you know whats. There looked to be plenty to do, plenty of women to meet, plenty of women to woo. Some girls were already flocking around him, satisfying his want for their attention, but he felt like he wanted something..different.
Thus began his search. He wandered around tirelessly for a couple hours, most reactions being the same as the last. That was until.. One woman in particular stood out to him. She was delicately holding a flower arrangement he assumed she obtained while wandering around the festival herself, sitting on one of the benches. Her form reminded him of royalty, the way she sat, the way her hair carefully laid on her shoulders. Her smile, gentle and caring, like it was only reserved for the arrangement and the arrangement alone. She looked to be having a rather nice time, though he felt she’d have an even better one with him. Dismissing his entourage and a promise he’d see them again—he wouldn’t, probably—he made his way over to the unsuspecting female. He’d be surprised if men hadn’t tried to advance on her before, amazed by the fact that she was even more astonishing up close.
“If I didn’t know any better, I’d have thought this festival was held in honor of your beauty." ..Hopefully that’d catch her attention. Beautiful flowers commemorating a beautiful girl, sounds about right.
They’ve done it once more. Of course, Lucina would allow herself to accompany others to the festival. A sort of jurisdiction that they gave one another to have fun since it was a festival, that was the meaning of it all. She should have known that Lissa and the others would wander off like always, everyone did their own thing and then Lucina would do what she could. Closing her eyes, just to give some time just for herself, it wasn’t silent for the fact that adults and children both were having fun, happy chuckles and screams of delight. The actions were heartwarming and she even tried thinking of her own parents, where were they? Were they doing fine. She truly wished they were here as well.
Holding the flower tightly in her hands as a smile formed on her features, maybe she was dreaming too hard. She wouldn’t be able to find them by just sitting around, no, that didn’t sound right at all but still it was nice to dream. Maybe she had became hopeless just like Cynthia and Morgan, how they never allowed anything to tear them away from a smile. This was probably an impact of dealing with them both, Lissa as well who stayed carefree. All these people and she knew of their importance, how much they meant to her. Maybe she could be fine without her parents just for a bit but though before that thought could be agreed with, she heard a voice ring into her ears.
Sapphire optics slowly raised up to meet with another’s own, she could not place his face but his words were quite alarming. This brought the female to look both left and right, wondering if he was speaking to the correct person. She was sure no one had sat by her and retaining her words, she found that even she was wrong. Contemplation of what to say first, the female blinked as if trying to bat away her confusion. “Are you speaking to me?” To reassure herself, she allowed the other’s flirt which he possibly used on other women to go over her head.
"I feel as if you have found the wrong person, maybe.. one of those women over there? Though, this is a festival of the flowers beauty so it couldn’t be mine." Holding up one of her hands to point at the many women that stood in a crowd only a few good steps away from them, she was unaware of what was going on but she wasn’t pleased that they stared at them. “I think they’re waiting for you, you shouldn’t keep them waiting.”
Zelos kept his eyes practically glued to her own sapphire orbs, nodding at the prompted question, "That I am." ..Did she really not get this often? Well.. no, if she didn't, she'd probably do what she just did with his own advances. She was certainly easy on the eyes. Oh, how he'd adore taking her home, even for the night~
"Wrong person? Oh, no no no, I definitely have the right one." He carefully took a seat right beside her, getting in a more comfortable position by resting his head on his hand, which was held in place with the position of his arm on his knee. He wasn't irritated that the other women were hanging around, just a little worried that they might linger too long. If they did, who's to say she wouldn't leave him right here, right now? Carefully taking her hand into his own, he gently motioned her up as he himself stood up, if.. she'd allow him to. "They'll understand. If it's not too much trouble, how about you and I take a look around together? Allow me the honor of winning you a prize."
"Or perhaps you're hungry? I can treat you. Hm.. what would you like to do?" He probably did come off as overly confident, but he couldn't help but feel a hint of worry over her rejecting him yet again. Getting shot down before he even had a chance wasn't something he was used to at all, what he was used to was getting his way almost all of the time, especially when it came to the topic of women. Oh, well, he'd just keep trying.
