Anahata is an interactive design solution in the form of wearable & mobile application as an initiative to help people with hearing disability. The device constitutes a combination of sensors, which utilizes the movement signals produced by tendons around the wrist, to predict the finger and hand position in order to detect the sign language gesture and convert it into audio or text output for the non deaf user. The wearable can also covert the audio signals of the non deaf user into visual gestures depicting sign language shown on the accompanied mobile application . In this way the product completes the loop of communication between the primary and secondary user to provide a seamless experience.

Mini Challenge-3
Based on true events (too much fun can be hamful) RIP - Lakshay ps: Do not try this at home
theBrief!
We expanded our chosen area of focus (education for the deaf)
A. Started with defining what is education, its levels and narrowed the problem area down to the higher education level
B. Looked at existing practices in higher education and communication for the deaf, highlighted the problem areas and started to define the problem statement
D. WE ARRIVED...
A teaspoon of empathy ;)
Secondary research (and some STATS!) led us to focus on the intersection of hearing disability and the future of education

video call discussions and endless chat notifications later we decided to explore the space of learning for specially-abled

theLOGO
We created this visual to represent and reflect our team, the monochromatic color scheme highlights the four members as being collective yet differentiated by their individual strengths and personalities. The overall visual is shaped as maze to give ode to the journey we are about to embark on and the challenges we look forward to overcome. Further it comes together to form an “O” that brings out the odessey in our name, while the colors point to tetris i.e four.
