The Texas Senate Clock and Scalia are BFFs, obvs.
An advertisement for the Texas Senate Clock
Texas State Senator Leticia Van de Putte gave an amazing statement during the filibuster initiated by State Senator Wendy Davis to protect women’s constitutional right to choose. The President of the Senate, Republican Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, was called out by Sen. Van de Putte for his unfair treatment of women colleagues during the filibuster process.
She was meant with a resounding cheer of supporters, effectively showing off her BAMF skills as someone who is willing to stand up for women. Thank you, Senator. Thank you to everyone who worked to stop this terrible bill from passing.

TX Republicans can’t tell time, apparently.
