They both turn to look out over the yard, drinking the tea without speaking, both comfortable with the lingering silence that seems to fit the calmness of the early hour. Levi can’t help feeling dazed by it all, the cottage, the garden, the stillness of the warm summer morning and the fact that people can live like this, have such things in their lives as this. Finally, after having bookmarked this fic in 2017, I started reading hedera_helix’s Dresden and it’s…just amazing and reignited my love for those two, <3 It combines just so many themes I adore. Please take a look here and just give it some love. <3 This fic needs to be made into an anime or manga.

This is fanart for the story Dresden by Hedera Helix.

This fanfiction left me grinning, shocked me, got me excited beyond measure that I simply couldn’t stop reading hour after hour until days became nights! Thank you so much Hedera for creating a wonderful piece of literature, that not only made me fall in love with the chracters all over again but also showed so wonderfully what it means to have passion, dedication and an interest in exploring these characters all over again! The slow-burn simply killed me!

I cannot stress enough how much respect I have for your accuracy for the simplest details, how you were able to construct setting and mood which just hit the right spots during reading -  I was simply left speechless. Knowing that I would never find all the words I need to express my thankfulness, this drawing is simply the best way to show you in my way just how much I admire your work!

I also would like to say thank you to @chopzoe, who did a wonderful job in translating the fanfiction to german and basically introduced me to this masterpiece in the first place! This drawing is also for you!

Who hasn’t read the story yet I can only encourage you to do so as soon as possible, it’s one of the best out there!
