Musings at 2 in the morning - Gill

From time to time, I’ll encounter an evening where I just can’t sleep. This just so happens to be one of those evenings. I was over at a friend’s apartment tonight. He’s one of the (regrettably) few friends from high school that I’ve remained in somewhat regular contact with through college. He’s got his degree and has a comfortable job - it’s stable, the pay’s not bad, and he has opportunities to advance. I look at myself. 26, finally finishing out my last semester of my bachelor’s, and I have no idea what I’m going to do after I graduate. It’s scary and exciting at the same time, staring over the edge into the unknown. Who knows where I’ll be in six month’s time? Anyways, thoughts like these have me awake tonight, and I’ve decided to let my mind wander a bit. Somehow my thoughts carried me back to this blog, and I decided to check in. It’s probably safe to say that for all intents and purposes, this blog as originally intended is dead, but I have some pretty good memories about it. I can’t believe it’s been over three years since the movie came out. Time flies, and so much has changed in my life since then, but the time I spent interacting with everyone on this blog is fresh in my mind. I consider myself lucky to have been asked by 2 awesome people to be a part of this blog, even if it was only in an auxiliary role. I hope the two of them are well, as it’s been a while since I spoke to either of them, and even then it’s just been a message or two every now and then, but... well, they’re awesome, and I hope they know that. 

Anyways, I hope that all is well with you. Don’t know when the next time I drop by will be, but I’ll be back. Until then, don’t forget the message of Les Amis de l’ABC. It’s a message worth remembering in the crazy, mixed-up time we find ourselves in. See you later!

YO, so as the current state of the blog stands, we aren’t doing any RPs, but I’m gonna start updating texts on a weekly schedule, prolly like Mon/Wed/Fri or something like that. That’s all! -R

Hi yes I second this, as I'm currently like two weeks out from opening night in the show I am I am very busy, and as I'm also the one who does RPs usually, the two don't mix. on top of that I'm not in a great mental state a lot of the time, and I don't want that playing into writing and hurting peoples feelings. also I'm not as inspired by Grantaire at the moment and really struggle writing as him, so there's that. And I am eternally grateful for romina doing the texts as I am just a hair away from losing it at the moment. I hope to be more involved later, loves, but take good care of romina for me! much love, gabs
