You met Kaeya at a café. It was a rather odd set of interactions the two of you had. First, you both had the same drink order which you both thought was a cute coincidence. You didn’t think much about it and was about to go sit down when you noticed there was no more open seats except at the table he was sitting at. So you asked him if you could join him. He had no problem with you sitting with him. The two of you were sitting in silence which didn’t bother either of you. But you looked up at him and realized how attractive he was. You couldn’t keep from staring. And that’s when you spilled some of your drink on yourself. He was quick to help you dry up the liquid that was on your clothes and on the table. He even offered to buy you another drink.
You couldn’t keep your eyes off of him and he was quick to catch onto this. He started chatting with you which ended up lasting for a while. But you had to leave eventually. As you got up to leave, he asked you for your number. You gladly gave it to him. He said he had a great date and left before you had a chance to say anything else. Your face was bright red after he left but you didn’t mind it one bit.
You met Zhongli in a book store. There was a cute little bookshop you’d been wanting to check out and today was the day you actually visited it. You were quietly perusing the crowded shelves while listening to some music in your headphones. But a figure came into your eyeline and you couldn’t help but look. This handsome man was skimming though a book, his eyes completely focused on the words on the pages. You swore you felt your heart jump when you saw him. He glance over to you and you quickly looked away. This is when the game of slyly sneaking peeks of each other began.
Eventually your little game became quite boring and you just wanted to walk over to him and say something. But before you got the chance, he came over to you. He asked you about the book you were looking at and you asked about his book. That conversation died off eventually but you weren’t ready to stop talking with this man. You gathered your courage and asked if he would like to join you for coffee. He happily accepted.
You met Itto on the street. You were off walking down the sidewalk when a large man practically faceplanted in front of you. You started to fret over the man as you helped him up. He was surprisingly quiet for someone who just fell onto the sidewalk. His attention was more focused on the cutie helping him off the ground.
When he was finally standing and you were sure he wasn’t injured, you began chatting (well it was more like Itto was word vomiting and you just listened). You saw how the tips of his ears got red with every word that came out of his mouth. You quickly shut him up by extending your phone towards him. You asked him to put his number in your phone. He grabbed your phone and quickly typed his number in. The two of you never stopped talking after you had each others’ numbers.

He’ll even pull you onto his lap himself if he has to. He wants to show you that there’s nothing to be worried about and he’s not going to die or something if you sit on his lap. He also wants you to sit on his lap more frequently. He likes having you close like that.
Zhongli is somewhat puzzled when he finds out you’re self-conscious about sitting on his lap. He really doesn’t understand why you’d be so worried about it. He’s 600+ year old ex-Archon, do you really think he can’t handle his lover sitting on his lap? He would never pressure you into doing something you’re uncomfortable with but he may invite you to try it out. He wants to prove that there’s no reason you should be worrying over things like that.
Man, Ayato frequently just pulls you onto his lap without cause. He loves having you so close to him. He may get a tiiiiny bit offended when you mention your insecurities. What, do you think he’s not man enough to handle his partner? Jokes jokes. He honestly does care about your feelings and will constantly reassure you there’s no reason you need to feel insecure. He’ll still pull you onto his lap all the time but he’ll whisper reassuring words into your ear too.

So when Childe gets sick, he first tries to pretend he’s fine. That doesn’t last long. Once you start scolding him for trying to get up and go about his day even though he can barely stand up straight, he’ll fold. He’ll be right back in bed in an instant. He really starts taking a liking to how you take care of him while he’s ill. He’ll even start whining and complaining that he’s much sicker than he actually is. He just likes the attention you give him. He’ll definitely try to cuddle and even kiss you. He’s going to try everything to get you in bed cuddling with him so you better be prepared to fight your way out of his arms if you want to stay healthy.
Ayaka pretends she’s absolutely fine. And she gets away with it for a while. You finally realize something’s off when you spot how she seems a bit lethargic and somewhat clumsy. You’ll really need to force her to go lay down. She won’t go without some resistance. She will finally give in after you reason with her and tell her the only way for her to get better is with rest. She will try to get up again very soon after she lays down but she’ll doze off before she actually gets a chance to get up. She does like having your attention as you care for her but she does feel a little bad for taking up your precious time. You’ll need to reassure her that you’re doing this because you care for her.
Ayato is a big ol’ baby when he gets sick. No one can convince me otherwise. He will try to power though his day at first. You may need to drag him out of his office to actually get him to rest. But once he gets in bed, he’s not leaving. He won’t even put up a fight once he hits the bed. Oh man, does he love the attention you’re giving him. He loves the way you pamper him and really care for him. He’ll definitely play up how bad he feels. Man could have a little cold and he’ll be acting like he has the flu. He just really likes how you take care of him. He barely gets a break during his busy life so getting a chance to let someone else -- someone he cares for immensely -- take care of him just makes him feel so nice.
Kaeya hides himself behind a mask of flirtatious remarks and smooth words. He keeps up this façade most of his days but you are the exception. When he’s with you, he feels like he can be vulnerable and really be himself. All of his worries and fears can finally be said out loud. He never worries about seeming weak around you. You are his safe haven.
When Childe looks at you, he sees sunshine
Childe is sunshiney on the outside but deep down he’s dark and broken. He is a broken man that tries to brush off his terrible past. You, on the other hand, are so bright and seem like you don’t have any weight on your shoulders. When you’re around, Childe forgets about his past and about all the bad he’s done. You are the light that keeps away the darkness in his heart.
When Zhongli looks at you, he sees freedom
Zhongli has been alive for many years. He’s seen so much destruction and heartache -- some even caused by him. He’s a bit more cynical and logical now that he’s matured. But when he sees you, he sees someone not burdened by knowledge like his. He sees someone just enjoying every day as it comes. He stays by your side hoping to gain that feeling of freedom for himself.
When Ayato looks at you , he sees home
Ayato is a busy man -- that is very well known. The poor Yashiro Commissioner barely gets a moment to himself some days. His nose is always buried in paperwork. But whenever you’re around, he gets a feeling of warmth and comfort. You always take care of him and make sure he’s eating or sleeping. Even home doesn’t feel like home if you aren’t there.

“Uh oh,” Kaeya said as you popped down on the sofa next to him, “What’d your asshole boyfriend do this time?”
“He was very obviously checking other people out. On a date. With me.”
“Ya know, you could just dump him.”
“I know but,” you sighed, “I don’t know.”
“You shouldn’t let him walk all over you like that. You deserve better than that ass.”
You couldn’t help the slight blush that tinted your cheeks. Kaeya always had a way with his words and knew just what to say to get under your skin -- even if he didn’t intend to. He leaned back against the sofa cushions, his arm coming up to rest on the cushion right behind your head.
“You either need to stand up for yourself or break up with him. I’m getting real tired of seeing him treat you like garbage.”
“Yeah, I guess,” you cleared your throat, “Anyway, what about you and your love life? Weren’t you talking to some girl?”
“I was but it’s not really going anywhere,” he smiled sheepishly
“How do you know that?”
“There’s no spark,” he sighed almost defeated, “There should be that bubbling warmth deep in you when you see someone you like -- it’s that feeling you get when you see a crush, ya know?”
“Yeah, yeah I know what you mean.”
Of course, you know exactly what he means. You were currently feeling that warmth as you stared at the man next to you.
“And I just don’t feel that with this girl.”
He relaxed into the sofa with a look of sadness. Like he wanted to like this girl but just couldn’t. Your head tilted to the side as you stared at him.
“Is there someone that makes you feel like that?”
Your question caught Kaeya off guard. His eyes widened in surprise as tried to avoid eye contact with you.
“Yeah, there is someone,” he admitted
“Well, why don’t you ask them out?”
He was silent as he stared down at his lap. You could tell something was on his mind. He let out a small sigh almost as if he had just lost a fight in his own head.
“Look, you don’t have to tell me but,” you placed a hand on his shoulder, “You should chase that feeling. Take the risk and ask that person out. Something great could come out of it.”
Kaeya looked up at you; his periwinkle eyes piercing right though you. In that moment, it felt like the two of you were the only people in the whole universe. You hadn’t realized how close the two of you actually were until right then. You couldn’t read his face but you could tell he was really mulling something over in his head.
“I should take the risk?” he whispered
“Yeah, you should.”
His face came closer to yours, your noses almost touching. His warm breath fanned your lips. You felt small under his gaze but you welcomed it. You wanted to be swallowed up by him.
“What if it’s wrong for me to make a move?”
“Kaeya what-”
“Should I still risk it even if it’s wrong?”
Your heart was about ready to beat right out of your chest. You swore he could hear how fast your heart was racing.
“Yes.”
Before you had a chance to register what was going on, a pair of lips captured yours. Kaeya’s hand tangled in your hair pulling you closer to him. Your hands grasped at his shirt wanting nothing more than to feel him -- to touch him. Your lips moved in sync like you’ve done this millions of times. Oh archons, have you been waiting for this kiss. In a moment of clarity, you realized the gravity of this situation. You pulled back slightly, your lips still centimeters from Kaeya’s.
“We shouldn’t be doing this,” you breathed
“I know but weren’t you the one that told me to make a move?”
“Yeah, I guess I did,” you chuckled
You were both silent a moment. Kaeya leaned back a bit so he could look at you properly. He pushed a stray hair away from your face, his hand lingering beside your cheek.
“Do you regret it?” he asked quietly
“That kiss? No, absolutely not,” you placed a hand on his chest, “I’ve actually wanted to do that for a while.”
“Is that so?”
He wrapped his arm around your waist and in one quick motion pulled you onto his lap. You let out a gasp at the now compromising situation you were in. You thought that kissing him was a lot but now straddling his lap? You definitely weren’t expecting this.

Thoma is so worried when he feels you gripping at him in your sleep. He’ll wake you up and make sure everything is alright. When he finds out everything is not alright and you’d just woken up from a bad nightmare, he goes into full comfort mode. He’ll hold you so tight and reassure you it was just a dream. He’ll make sure you know he isn’t going anywhere.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay. I’m here. I’m right here.”
Ayaka isn’t sure what to do at first but she eventually gathers herself and comforts you. She lets you vent about the nightmare if you want to talk about it all while holding onto your hands. She’ll be a bit logical and remind you it was only a dream -- that none of that is happening right now. She’ll stay up with you until you feel comfortable enough to go back to sleep.
“I’m sorry Y/N. That sounds like an awful dream. Don’t worry though, it isn’t real.”
Raiden is logical but sympathetic. She will let you talk it our if you need to but she’ll frequently remind you that none of that is currently going on and that you’re just at home. She’ll wait until you’ve gotten all your thoughts out until suggesting going back to sleep. She’ll make sure you’ve fallen asleep before she goes to bed.
“Please don’t worry about these thing, dear. I promise it was just a dream.”
Yoimiya gets concerned the moment you start moving around sporadically in bed. She’ll wake you up as quickly as possible. She’s honestly a bit raddled up too -- she feeds off your nervous energy. The moment you tell her you were having a nightmare, she’ll pull you in for a hug. She won’t let go of you until you feel much better. She’ll hold you for as long as you need.
“What happened? A nightmare? Oh no my poor Y/N! I promise it’s okay.”

Kaeya will 100% pretend he’s sicker than he actually is so that you’ll fuss over him. He loves getting all of your attention. He absolutely loves how you’ll rush to get him anything he desires and will take very good care of him. He will admit that he wasn’t as sick has he acted when he gets better. Also don’t think he won’t fuss over you when you’re sick. You’ll get the same amount of care or even more when you get sick. He does act like such a baby when he’s really sick. He complains so much. He gets so grumpy but when you start taking care of him, he gets way less grumpy.
Zhongli tries to pretend he’s not that sick because he doesn’t want to worry you. You’ll go off and do your errands or go to work but when you return home, you’ll be met with your boyfriend practically shaking under the covers of your bed and sweat dripping from his forehead. After scolding him for not telling you, he’ll apologize for not telling you but tell you he just didn’t want to worry you. He wouldn’t let you fuss over him until he really started feeling bad. He’d thank you every time you did anything for him. He just really appreciates how much you’re doing for him in his time of need.
Thoma will try to get up and go to work even if he’s very sick. He could have an aggressive fever and almost throwing up every few minutes but he’d still try to go to work. You’d have to force him into bed and make sure he doesn’t leave. Lock the door if you have to. After a while he’ll give up and stay home. But he’s still going to try and do his regular at home activities. He feels bad for being at home and not doing anything productive. But once you force him into bed and start taking care of him, he’ll stop trying to get out of bed. He is really appreciative of you taking care of him -- especially when he starts feeling better almost immediately.
Oh my archons, Itto is such a baby. The minute he feels even a but of a runny nose, he’s complaining and whining. He’ll insist that you have to take care of him. He tells you that he only gets better when you take care of him. He’s so clingy when he’s sick. The sicker he is the more clingy he is. He won’t let you leave his side even if you’re trying to get him something. He’ll try to hug and snuggle with you. You can protest all you want, saying he’s going to get you sick, but he promises he’ll take care of you when you get sick. He’ll say whatever he has to say to get you to get in bed with him and cuddle.
