What is a Wisdom Reading?

Hi pham! I picked up The Foxglove King by Hannah Witten and started blowing through it--it's so good! But I like it so much that I actually don't want to read through it too fast. I'd like to absorb it and maybe let it inspire me to create things as I am reading.

So I am starting over and for each chapter I would like to choose a theme. I'm doing this by drawing a tarot card, but if you want to do this with a book you can choose a theme lots of ways. Just think one up or use a random word generator online!

I also might try to do some fan art and make digital collages but I'M NOT THERE YET. But I have already re-read chapter 1 with the theme of 3 of Cups so please find my next post if you are interested!

A cunning vampire door-to-door salesperson who stands in people’s doorways and talks until they can find a convenient moment to drop their pen and the person picks it up and the vampire says oh “Thank you” and the person says “you’re welcome” and the vampire smiles a big fangy grin and steps inside

And that’s this vampire’s modus operandi for decades And then the language starts to change and suddenly millenials have homes and the vampire thanks them and they say “oh, no problem” and the vampire is like ???????????????? this was not the plan

Secret Cosplay #1 Reveal!

I did Esmeralda from Disney’s version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame! This is my first Disney cosplay, as I started gathering materials for it earlier last year (even before Kida). Esmeralda is one of my favorite Disney ladies and THoND is one of my favorite literary works, so of course I had to do this! So happy that everything turned out so well, especially my wig (my first successful attempt at wig styling and I think I did a pretty rockin’ job!). 

I’ll take some close-up shots of my costume if anyone is interested. For the time being, I need to find a pygmy goat to cosplay as Djali. >:3
